I am a San Diego Realtor, I have managed my own properties for over 30 years. My husband Jim and I built and designed this home as our dream home 22 years ago. We raised our daughter in Del Mar and she is a teacher with her masters degree in administration. We love Del Mar and the San Diego area for its great schools, climate, beachs, entertainment, restaurants, quality of life and all that the area has to offer.
Why they chose this property
Our vacation home is easy access from freeeway 5 and approximately 20-30 minutes from the airport yet we feel like we are away from it all in our own little world with the surrounding beauty of the ocean, nature and sandstone cliffs. We are a short drive down the freeway 5 to sea world ,old town and downtown san diego.
What makes this property unique
We are walking distance to the beach, and great local restaurants along Carmel Valley Road. The back of the home abuts an open space nature reserve. We also enjoy the Lagoon view, Torrey Pine Trees, and the beautiful sunsets when they occur. Watching a sail boat sail on the ocean or a wind surfer, or a ship out at sea from the great room or decks is one of the many thrills to enjoy in this home.
