Welcome to our cozy cabin at Lake Cushman where you can enjoy a relaxing getaway with access to the nearby lakes and a private hot tub. Our cabin is perfect for couples, gatherings, or friends who want to experience the real beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Enjoy an open living space with modern upgrades. The Kitchen is made for entertaining and connects to living space with an eat-up bar. The open concept living room is spacious and comfortable, with a large sofa and TV with streaming services. You can relax on the couch and watch your favorite movies or read a book while enjoying the tranquility of the cabin.

Our cabin has three separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. The first-floor primary bedroom has a king-size bed with an ensuite sink and vanity and easy access to a full bath. The second floor features another bedroom with a king-size bed and a bonus room with a queen-size bed plus a futon that is perfect for kids. The first-floor full bathroom has a shower and bathtub, and the upstairs bathroom has a shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals, including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, air fryer, coffee maker, Keurig, and dishwasher. The dining area has a table that seats six people.

The best part of our cabin is the outdoor amenities with a private hot tub, grill, fire pit, and porch swing. You can soak in the hot tub while enjoying the fresh air, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or swing in the porch swing where you will likely get a visit from the local deer.

Our cabin is located in a quiet and secluded area near Lake Kokanee, but close to many attractions and activities. You can hike or bike on the nearby trails, hit the links at the Lake Cushman Golf Course, or visit the private community beaches and parks for even more fun. You can also explore the charming town of Hoodsport or drive north on Hood Canal to enjoy fresh oysters at Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon. Property includes lake, park, and boat launch access, all private to residents of Lake Cushman.

Perfect Spot

Great place to stay! We all enjoyed the space and look forward to renting again next summer. I would definitely recommend having some bbq utenils added for use!

perfect weekend away at the lake

The hot tub was my favorite part of the getaway, it was perfectly clean and we could see so many stars after dark! Our stay was hassle-free and just so enjoyable to have the option to unplug and sit by the lake or watch movies at the house. Thanks for having us!

House in the Woods

We spent 3 days with this as our central location. While we ran around the peninsula. It was a perfect little cabin! We loved the hot tub! The beds were very comfortable and the space was calm and enjoyable. If we go back we would love to stay there.

Quiet and Cozy

Nice and cozy home. My nieces and nephews loved it. Central to town, Lake Cushman and the Olympic National Park. Clean and well-appointed. Nice hot tub. Plenty of space to interact with family and areas to step away for quiet time.

Wonderful property

This is a 3 bedroom property. Stayed with my 2 teenagers and we enjoyed our time hiking and visiting the scenic lakes. Owner provides much more than other properties we have visited such as towels by the hottub, laundry supplies, throw blankets and wood for the firepit. The house was updated and very comfortable. There were plenty of dishes so we could use the dishwasher once instead of wash as we go other properties with only a few. We will definitely return!

Very comfortable house

The Cutthroat lodge exceeded all our expectations. It was very comfortable, well equipped, and convenient for exploring the eastern side of the Olympic Peninsula. We enjoyed cooking and watching movies at night. Our only slight disappointment was that the fireplace was not available for guest use. That is very understandable and reasonable considering the risks and liabilities as well as the extra cleaning and maintenance required. (The FP was not even mentioned in the listing but did appear in some photos) thanks to our hosts for sharing their vacation home with us.

Big fun on Lake Cushman

We enjoyed our stay in Hoodsport greatly! The cabin beds were very comfy, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment. Hot tub worked great, and there was plenty of wood for the fire pit — s’mores every night! The rental was everything I expected from the photos, and the neighborhood was very quiet. The private parks that give you access to Lake Kokanee and Lake Cushman are well-maintained, absolutely gorgeous, and convenient. Hoodsport has just enough of the vacation-rental amenities to be a low-stress home base, but isn’t so big that it’s hard to navigate. A few neocon flags flying in the neighborhood, but the residents seemed unconcerned by my family of brightly-dyed-hair city slickers. We’ll be back to vacation in the neck of the woods very soon!
