Enjoy the quiet town of Omena at this home located in a peaceful wooded setting with a beautiful sandy beach. Wake up to gorgeous sunrise views over West Grand Traverse Bay and the sound of the water gently lapping the shore. This private, quiet area is a great place to get away. East Beach Retreat has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are beds for 8, but up to 10 people are allowed.

The home has a wood-burning fireplace and DVD player but no Internet access. Grill out on the deck and enjoy the beach area. In Omena, enjoy a tasting at a local winery, visit local art galleries, or collect rocks on the bay. The home is located between Northport and Suttons Bay. Traverse City is 35 minutes away.

Great location, property could use some attention.

The location is great, the beach is excellent. We barely saw another person on the beach. It was like we had the entire stretch of beach to ourself. If there was some attention to the home to clean up a few things it would simply be a great place. Better beds, a better couch, a nice spot to clean off sandy feet. All simple upgrades that would make me want to come back. Unfortunately we will look elsewhere for next years trip.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No television and wi-fi made it a bad vacation. By the way, did you know the DVD was actually and old VCR player so we couldn't even watch the dvds we brought. And the toaster is the old one I complained about last year. It needs to be replaced people!!
