This home was thoughtfully decorated and supplied. It’s super inviting and has all the luxuries of home. The owners have tried to think of everything to ensure that guests have a memorable stay. The views from upstairs and downstairs are breathtaking!

Newly remodeled and completed in October 2023 with custom finishes, The Chickadee Nest Retreat is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath cabin nestled on a hilltop overlooking a valley with breathtaking views! All bedrooms and gameroom also have their own TV! All new luxury linens and bedding. All the furniture is new and the dining room table has seating for 8. This beautiful home is the perfect spot for couples or large families to escape and recharge! Come home after a long day of adventures and relax in the 5-person hot tub. The hot tub patio allows for star gazing and sunset watching! The upstairs deck is covered and has several seating choices for a perfect spot to enjoy your coffee or a beverage! Access to the cabin is gravel, well maintained and right up to the front door. No need for a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Chickadee Nest Retreat is only 4 miles to downtown Franklin, 19 miles to Sylva, 24 miles to Bryson City, and 35 miles to Cherokee. If you are flying into the local airport on Airport Road, the front door is less than 3 minutes away. The possibilities of fun are endless. Show off your cooking skills both indoors and out. The Chickadee Nest Retreat has a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and is stocked with various cookware for the chef in you to enjoy. If it’s BBQ you prefer, there’s a fire pit and BBQ area just outside below the deck with a gas BBQ grille (propane always included), Adirondack chairs and a high-top pub table for outdoor dining in the fresh mountain air. The property has speedy WiFi, but it may be weak or limited at times since the property is in a rural area. We welcome your furry friends and there is a strict NO SMOKING policy inside the home. We ask that you dispose of your tobacco trash in a water bottle! This cleanup is easy and reduces the risk of fire!

Upstairs host a king bedroom, queen bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath with stand in custom tile shower. Downstairs you will find a queen bedroom, one set of bunks bedroom with toys for the kids, a full bath with tub, washer/dryer, pool table and game room area with a large 55 inch TV. The hot tub is located on porch with coverage and is private. The fire pit allows for gathering and roasting on those cool nights! Don’t worry, your furry family members will enjoy their time and have plenty of space to roam. We do require that all animals are accompanied by their owners on a leash at all times when outside.
