Welcome! This charming cottage is located in one of Sonoma's most historic neighborhoods in the heart of California Wine Country. It is very cheerful and is a place to relax and enjoy all that this destination has to offer.
A cheerful front-covered porch invites you to enjoy the morning sun. High ceilings in the living room create space for a music salon. The original Douglas fir wood floor from the 1920s blends beautifully with the ebony grand piano. There are two bedrooms. The sofa bed in the living room and another sofa bed in one of the bedrooms can be used for additional guests. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, and all pots and pans, utensils, dishes, and glasses you need. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination, and towels are provided. You are welcome to enjoy outdoor dining on the back patio, where you can also access the vegetable/herb garden, brick fire pit, and a comfortable chaise lounge. The area is quiet and peaceful while being a short walk to several local restaurants, an ice cream shop, grocery stores, a post office, and many more locations. The Sonoma Fairmont Hotel is a five-minute walk, where you can enjoy a nice massage or an evening drink at the bar. The historic Sonoma Plaza is less than a 10-minute drive. This is a premier location surrounded by many fine wineries. I look forward to your visit!

About the host
Hosted by Keiko
I am originally from Sapporo, Japan but moved to Sonoma 25 years ago. Before Sonoma, I lived in Tokyo, Boston, the Netherlands, and New York. Now, I call Sonoma my "home." I enjoy living in this charming town and meeting new people, tasting wine, bike rides, traveling, the opera and symphony, and many other activities.
Why they chose this property
It is a lovely walking area. The area is an old part of Sonoma, and the streets are narrow and winding. I got the cottage because of the charming streets and houses.
What makes this property unique
The cottage was built in 1929, and it still retains the original structure, including Douglas fir floors, windows, closets, front porch, etc.
