The house was very clean and well taken care of for an older home. The neighborhood was very quiet and welcoming. The host was very patient and communicative throughout the visit.

It was good! The master bath shower was a little to high pressure and the guest with nerve damage said it was painful to shower (fixed by using the other shower).

Cool house, obviously an older home but renovated. Served our needs well. Plenty of space. Close to a small district of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed Neighborhood Jam for breakfast and Kaiser's for ice cream. Not too far of drive to the Zoo Amphitheater or Downtown.

The house was cute. We enjoyed our stay. After a mix up with checking in, the host called to make sure everything was okay. Neighbors had beautiful yards. The house was close to the places we wanted to visit. Very comfortable bed.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the stay to be good value and the beds clean and comfortable. We also appreciate your note about the couch — this has since been refreshed to ensure a more welcoming space for our guests.
So heres the thing...the property is clean, the beds were comfortable, water pressure is good...all that was great. IF everything worked there would be no complaints BUT...NOT the case. It should be noted that there is NOT central AC in this property. Each room has at least one window unit, mini split, or portable ac unit...and all of that (while a little getto) is fine, BUT THEY DIDNT WORK. When we got in town at 9pm we walked in and the house was probably sitting at around 85...once I figured out what we were dealing with I went around and started turning them all on starting with the one in the room my daughter was to sleep in. Well long story short...there were MAJOR electrical issues with this property. The mini split in the middle bedroom was only reachable by one outlet and the outlet didnt work...at all. The dining room outlet for that window unit...didnt work. We couldnt use one of the bathrooms completely because there was NO functioning electric in that bathroom AT ALL...no light, no working outlet...nothing. Then while checking outlets I found that one of the outlets in the room my daughter was to sleep in was not even secured to the wall!!!! The host had a maintenance person come and check it out be there was no resolution. I happen to find an extension cord in a closet that allowed me to plug a fan in so that the one room was tollerable but seriously...not ok, not acceptable at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback.
I’m sorry you experienced electrical and cooling problems during your stay — that is not the standard we aim for. The property does not have central air; it relies on individual window/mini‑split/portable units, and I apologize that several of those and multiple outlets were not working when you arrived. Our team did respond the night of your stay, and after your report we had an electrician complete a full inspection and repair: secured and replaced the loose receptacle, restored power to the affected bathroom, repaired faulty outlets, and serviced the cooling units. We’ve also added additional pre-arrival checks and clearer listing language about the type of cooling provided so future guests know what to expect.
Thank you for noting what went well and for bringing these issues to our attention — feedback like this helps us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back under better conditions.

The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was available. We, two women, traveled in a 12 person van and a minivan; so we did need to leave the minivan on the street. We had no issues with anything happening to it. Would be happy to stay here again. When we asked a question or for help, they promptly helped us.

Host was very responsive. They did charge more to have a friend for a few night. The overall property needs updates. Needs maintenance and repair. beds were comfortable. AC units were temperamental. Several drawers wouldn’t open or close, several doors wouldn’t shut properly. The floor heating unit was on the whole time, the floors were uneven. The shower in one room had the pressure too high. Overall trim level needs updated and more thorough cleanliness. It has vintage charm.

The house was immaculate. Very cute. Lots of character. Nicely equipped. The neighborhood was a little concerning. There were large groups of young people gathered on the corner late into the evening, and loud music and loud cars at the next door neighbor's house.
We chose not to stay at this property after arriving and discovering the advertised third bedroom was very misleading compared to the listing photos. While it may technically qualify as a legal bedroom, it was extremely small, had only a tiny window, and a very shallow closet space. The photos created a much different impression of the room’s actual size and usability. The property manager was aware of our circumstances before arrival. We were traveling with five adults and two young children, ages 2 years and 3 months, while also dealing with my wife being hospitalized. Because of this, having accurate accommodations and a safe environment was especially important to our family.Additionally, less than a block from the property, we witnessed someone actively using drugs with a needle on the curb as we were leaving the area. Given the situation and the presence of our young children, we did not feel safe or comfortable staying at the property.Future guests, especially families, would benefit from more accurate room representations and better transparency regarding the surrounding area.
