Close enough to Austin (20 miles to COTA), Bastrop (19.6 miles), and Lockhart (16 miles) for getting out to enjoy shopping, restaurants, activities, and historic small town Texas with a return to the country for rest and replenishment. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch while watching the deer and horses graze in a nearby pasture.

Upstairs is a king size bed, and sitting area with television and Direct TV and wifi, and a beautiful view out the windows. Downstairs is a sitting area, full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave, and breakfast bar. Small bathroom with a shower and small size washer and dryer. Filtered rainwater collection system.

I grew up in Houston & my husband grew up in Dallas but we both moved to the country as soon as we were young adults to raise a family and enjoy small town living. My husband enjoys gardening, cooking and carpentry projects. I enjoy getting to know new people, helping others, quilting, visiting family and friends, and travel. We both enjoy our hound dog and 2 horses but don't ride anymore.

Why they chose this property

We are at the end of a 2 mile road and a dry creek that does sometimes spill over close to our house with heavy rain but it is a pretty piece of property with solitude and privacy.
