We had the most wonderful time staying here. Most of the stay, we sat in the yard starting at the beautiful lake and greenery. The place is clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to prepare homemade meals. We ran out of time and didn’t have a chance to enjoy the kayaks, but I’m sure we’ll be back again soon. Thank you for the most restful stay. It was just what we needed for a break from the city.

Relaxing stay with a beautiful view of the sparkling lake! Very clean, comfortable beds, terrific shower, plenty of coffee! Peaceful path for taking walks by the lake.

Wonderful Visit

Wonderful visit to Carmel, NY. Cottage has a beautiful view of Lake Carmel and the walking path along the lake was wonderful.Check in process was simple. Wi-fi worked great and owners were very responsive to any questions.Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful home!

This place is just like the pictures. Very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The view is fantastic! The linens are hotel-like and the kitchen is very nicely stocked. We stayed two nights and walked around the lake, made for a great stay. Definitely recommend.

Vacation on the Lake

The house was exactly as it appears. The view of the lake from the front picture windows was spectacular. And the fireplace was put to good use since the weather was so very very cold. Would love to visit in the summer.

It was a lovely house that had everything one could need. The lake is feet away with a fenced in yard. The backyard was also a secluded spot with tons of birds. Bed was very comfy and everything was super clean. Previous renters left items to enjoy, so there were extras.Two items to know- 1. There is a home preschool next door. It wasn’t too noisy, but you will hear kids when they head outside.2. I’m 6’ and some of the furniture was lower to the ground than normal. It made getting up a bit difficult for older knees . These are not setbacks though. It was a lovely home and easy in and out. The owners were VERY responsive.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home with a gorgeous lake view. The property was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. We really enjoyed walking around the lake and although we did not use them, we appreciated the fact that kayaks were available, The beautifully landscaped fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. We would love to stay here again!

What a treasure! This host had everything and more. The place was immaculate and there were instructions for everything from the AC to the Kayaks and beach access. The host was SO responsive and kind. The neighborhood was safe and grounds were beautiful. What a great night’s sleep!!! 10/10 would recommend and may even be back!
