Brand new resort-style pool, ready for all stays July 1 and beyond!

If you’re booking for July or later, you’ll be among the first to experience it!

Come relax & have fun with friends and family on 16 acres! Enjoy the hot tub with a view of beautiful hill country, play pickleball or basketball on the sport court, adventure up the 3 story treehouse, grill out & let the kids play on the playhouse & outdoor mud kitchen! Check out the game building featuring classic arcade games, ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, & more! End the day with a bonfire or relaxing in a hammock on the porch. The perfect getaway!

**PLEASE NOTE - We do not allow check-outs on Saturdays. Any Saturday checkout requests have to be confirmed prior to booking. For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have one exterior security camera located at the front door facing the driveway.

50th Birthday

This was the perfect place to kick back and relax for my 50th birthday. We enjoyed the beautiful views and had a great time playing games, as we are a competitive group! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely come back to this place!!

The Hilltop Hideaway was the perfect spot for our family. This was a special 3-night stay with our children and grandchildren. The two houses were perfect for us - we grandparents took the smaller cabin and the kids and grandkids shared the larger cabin. The grandchildren's ages ranged from 7 to 16, and there was not a single, "I'm bored" during our entire stay. The new pool is beautiful and entertained all of us for hours. The kids loved the water slide and the lazy river. Adults and kids also loved the pickleball/basketball court and the putting greens. All equipment was stored neatly and was in great shape. The kids also enjoyed the games in the game room and the ping pong table. The cabin has huge porches with lots of seating - and with a fabulous view of the countryside - we played lots of card games between trips to the pool. I have nothing negative to say about the Hilltop Hideaway. The owners responded timely and graciously to answer any questions we had. Since this is out in the country, it is quiet and very peaceful. We even saw a deer walking through the property. I'd suggest reserving for multiple days since there are also fun things to enjoy in Glen Rose. The kids won't want to leave the property, but they really need to experience Fossil Rim Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Valley State Park, and play on the huge boulders at Big Rocks. Oh.. don't forget marshmallows, graham crackers, and Hersheys; there is a fire ring and the roasting sticks are provided. Enjoy!

Excellent Easter Getaway

The property was just what we expected and wanted. Our grandkids hung out in the game building or on the pickleball court. Disk golf was fun and we even spent a fair amount of time in the three story tree-house. We didn't have any complaints from our group.

Great Stay!

Our family, 8 adults and 8 children (ages 1-9), had a great time staying here for two nights. The kids especially enjoyed the zip line, mud kitchen, and sports court. Overall, having a lot of outdoor space to explore was so valuable for the kids. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies and the property was very clean and well-maintained. We used the loft area as a sleeping area for adults, but I would recommend it for teenagers or older kids as the ladder isn't great for adults but it is sufficient. We also enjoyed the game room, fire pit, and tree house. Elle was great with communication prior to our stay, and also while we were there. She answered all of my questions, and was very helpful. Thanks for the great stay!
