This how was perfect for our family beach weekend. Super cute and cozy and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Deck for live music. Would definitely stay again.
The house smelled amazing and fresh when we first walked in. Everything was so cute and more than what we expected. The host was very communicative and seemed easy to reach if we needed to.
The beach house exceeded our expectations in many ways! The area's food, art and natural beauty are well worth the drive. Comfortable, well-appointed home. Beach is beautiful and clean. Sand is soft. Pier is fun to walk. It really is just steps away from the house, although you do have to walk to see it. Food and music at The Deck were above expectations. We didn't expect live music every day - way to go, Muskegon! Added bonus is that you can't hear the restaurant noise from the beach house. We dined mostly at home but thoroughly enjoyed Brunch House on Henry Street, Carmen's Cafe on Jefferson St. and Bear Lake Tavern on Ruddiman Dr. Oh, and the farmer's markets in Michigan can't be beat. Interesting sights included the Hackley Library (gorgeous), Monet Garden, sub museum, lighthouse and the art museum. We'd spend our morning exploring, take chairs to the beach in the afternoon and relax in the evening trying to find the best place to watch the sunset. Grand Haven is a lovely city within a short drive if you want to explore beyond Muskegon. Living room and front porch furniture were comfortable for lounging. Dining room picture looks smaller than it actually is - it's tight, but you can move the benches. Kitchen was well-stocked with pans, utensils, dining ware. Appliances in great condition. Bathroom is tiny and as other reviewers mentioned, storage in the bedrooms is tight. Beach chairs, beach towels and a rolling wagon in excellent shape
