Refundable Damage Deposit: Rentals may require a Refundable Damage Deposit from March through Easter weekend. The Rental Company will collect this deposit by cash or credit card at check-in. If paying by credit card, the Primary Renter must present a credit card that matches their name upon check-in. Age Restrictions: The minimum age requirement for renters is 25. As per Homeowner Association Rules & Regulations, THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW YOUNG ADULT/SPRING BREAK GROUPS.

- The number of guests must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
- Parties are strictly prohibited.
- Please keep noise levels to a minimum to respect other guests and property owners.
- Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.

Beautiful ocean view! The property is very well maintained, and the security personnel were fantastic. While the interior could use some cosmetic updates and the pots are a bit older, the stunning view more than makes up for it. I would definitely come back—highly recommend!

Great Condo!

This is our 3rd year staying at Ocean Vista. The location is great and really enjoyed the 3rd floor. The keypad lock was an unexpected perk. So simple. Plenty of items in the kitchen for whatever you needed. Overall good stay!

We were generally very happy with the unit. It is well decorated and was very clean. The balcony has a great view! I did not realize ahead of time that the property does not rent umbrellas and chairs, so we had to purchase those. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

We liked the condo; it was obvious that it had been well used. We did fix a few things for the owner. It had a sliding patio door that needed adjustment. Front door also needed some adjustments. Overall, we had what we needed for a nice vacation.

Good bang for buck

Large 2 bedroom condo, right on the beach with large lanai, with walking distance to the "entertainment district". property was "clean" but very dated and deteriorating. bathrooms were moldy and everything seemed to be original from the 1990's. if you can get past the aesthetic, this property is a terrific value.

Great property! We even got to see dolphins from the balcony one morning! The chairs on the balcony are wonderful. The only thing wrong was the guest bathroom toilet was too low & not stable so it moved every time you used it. Also the shower doors came off track but maintenance was quick & efficient. The master bedroom toilet was secure but also appeared too low. If you have elderly parents these showers are difficult for them to get in & out of. Overall, this property was fantastic!

We enjoyed the property and beach area. Not crowded. Leisurely environment. Great sized balcony with view! Our only complaints are that the master bedroom was hotter than the rest of the condo with no ceiling fan. We woke in the night because of this. We got a box fan, and it helped. I suggest bringing a fan. Our second major complaint is the lack of blackout curtains. The sun is HARSH in the morning, and there was no way to avoid waking up with the sun. We had to cover the windows with additional blankets to rest.

Excellent Getaway

We have been staying at Ocean Vista for over 8 yrs but this was the first time at this unit. This location is absolutely perfect in every way. Convenience, close to all restaurants, amenities are by far the best. I only have two complaints about #306. * The sliding door in the living room would not open. We had to go through the master bedroom sliding door anytime we wanted to go out to the balcony. * And the other complaint are the beds. Their beds definitely need to be updated. They were all uncomfortable and the sofa sleeper was definitely not in a condition to have anybody sleep in it. I was a bit disappointed that two kids had to sleep on the sofa seat and one on the floor because the sofa sleeper was not comfortable. The sleeping here are only for 6 and not 8 as advertised. We desperately needed a getaway so we gladly overlooked this but definitely need something done if they are going to continue to advertise for 8 people. Other than that we really enjoyed our time at SPI.

Okay stay

The location was amazing!! Perfect view of the ocean and it was so close! Definitely was the BEST part of our stay! Couldn’t beat that!! The condo itself was clean by run down and needs a lot of updating. For example, the shower in the master bathroom was almost caving in and the fixtures had mold in them. The guest bathroom has ceiling issues also and a huge repair behind the toilet. The sliding glass door was very hard to open and close and would the lock would lock on its own. Thank goodness there was always someone else in our party to let us back in. The property manager on site was hard to get a hold of and not helpful or friendly at all.

Quick walk to beach, nice view! All appliances worked well and unit was spacious for our group. Only negative was could not find a large pot for boiling water for pasta so bought one and left it there for other guests.

It was okay!

The condo was clean upon arrival. However, the masterbathroom tub was clogged up the first day. The water did not drain and the dirty water caused my feet irritated. Try to contact the 24 hour maintenance immediately, no answer so left a voice message to call back but no response during our entire stay. Luckily, the drainage fixed itself after 2 days. Also, we were instructed to pick up after ourselves but there was not enough trash bag. We were literally given 2 kitchen trash bags for entire stay.

Comfortable beach view condo

The selling point for this condo was the beach-facing bedroom and living room with a balcony spanning both. It was lovely to wake up and watch the sunrise, enjoy coffee on the balcony. The condo is well-appointed, has just about everything you need, though is a bit dated (like many properties in South Padre.) Bring your own beach chairs. The location is great; the beach there is wide and has nice rolling dunes. The one downside is the condo being so close to the hot tub, and late night noise from a family who assumed the hours of operation don't apply to them. Response from the property management was good. Check in and out couldn't be easier!

Nice family getaway

Very pleased with this condo! The location of the building and our particular unit was extremely convenient going to and from the beach, while getting an amazing view of the ocean. You can watch the sunrise from the balcony, or go for an early walk on the beach. The place was obviously old (pretty much anywhere you stay will be) but the owners did a good job renovating the place, making it feel more modern and clean. For example, we especially enjoyed the dining table, the master bed. The showers and kitchen sink were where you could tell it was older. Also, it was difficult to get the right temperature of water in the shower (could only get hot water) and the towels we were provided were pretty thin and seemed to be stained. One of the beds in the secondary bedroom (next to the window) was squeaky. But we definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend - the unit is actually better in person than shown in photos!
