Welcome to your ocean-view Caribbean home away from home at Point Pleasant Resort, B1.

This romantic 1-bedroom ocean-view villa offers privacy, comfort, and one of the resort’s most convenient lower-level locations. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families, B1 sleeps up to 4 guests and is just steps from Sugar Beach, the Shoreline Pool, and nearby parking. The villa’s top-floor setting, open layout, and beautiful water and island views create a relaxing St. Thomas getaway.

The villa features a king bedroom with an attached bathroom, a spacious living area with a sleeper sofa, and an open floor plan that connects the dining area and living space. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals during your stay, along with additional breakfast bar seating. The private balcony offers outdoor dining and lounge chairs, making it the perfect place to enjoy island breezes and ocean views.

B1 is conveniently located near the Shoreline Pool and just steps from Sugar Beach, giving guests easy access to one of the resort’s most scenic waterfront areas. Parking is right outside the villa for added convenience. Point Pleasant Resort is approximately 8 miles from the airport. Rental cars are recommended for guests who want to explore the island, though taxis are often available near the lobby. The resort is also close to Coki Beach, Coral World Ocean Park, the ferry to St. John, and Magens Bay. Shuttle service is available throughout the 15-acre property.

Phenomenal management, great villa

The team do an excellent job of providing personal service at this resort!! My villa was clean, comfortable and had a view one can only dream of. They do not have direct access to the beach, but the shuttle drives you down (about 5 min) to Coki and picks you up on request at no charge. I also stayed another corporate hotel (because it was too late to cancel), and the rooms and service could not compare. They were actually quite terrible (I will review them next). I would recommend staying at Point Pleasant but playing on St. John Trunk/ Cinnamon beach. All beaches on St Thomas are public so you can still visit the beaches at other resorts if you desire. I will definitely be back and will stay at this resort when I do.

Won’t stay here again

I’ll start with the positives. The view from the balcony is lovely & there are no other units which is why we booked this one & paid more. The location is great. Close to Redhook (ie restaurants & the ferry to St. John which is where we spent most of our time). And there’s a guard (most of them check your pass to enter). The girl at the desk was amazing & stayed late to check us in which would be my fault bc I assumed there was keyless entry & our flight landed at 7pm. But there are so many negatives that we’ll never stay here again. The last thing you want to do on vacation is call maintenance to fix things & be in your rental with your belongings. The property would’ve benefited from using the time they had off to check the units & do repairs. -Mattress was rock hard & the pillows flat. We did not sleep well at all. -Ceiling fan in the master doesn’t work so it was warm all night even with the wall unit. The side windows you see are louvered & don’t actually close so there is always warm air coming in. -Kitchen - broken scissors, no pans, no cutting board, limited supplies so we really couldn’t cook like we had planned, coffee maker leaked out all the water we put in, an incredibly out of date stereo -Furniture is dingy & in need of cleaning -Would’ve been nice to have some beach supplies like other units have -Maintenance worked at the weirdest hours ie 6am & 3pm making sleeping in or napping impossible -Mold & webs on ceiling & furniture -Steps to the pool were closed & falling apart so we had to go up the hill & back down to get to it. No maintenance on those during our week long stay. We love USVI but there are far better places to stay on the islands.

Best vacation ever

Everyone has been wonderful here. From the moment we stepped onto the property!! We have been catered to and taken care of by all of the staff. The views are 5star. The condo is perfect. The little beach they have is perfect. The location in reference to things to do is perfect. The lower swimming pool right by the ocean is beautiful. A shuttle to everything is an added plus. They took us to the ferry to St John and on another day to shopping and to eat dinner. We are extremely happy. Coming . Back next year !!!

Amazing Resort!!

This is the ONLY place I will ever stay during my trips to St. Thomas! The value alone is remarkable! The REAL deal is the amazing rooms, which are more like your own private condos. Complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living room space and a great size bedroom. The staff on site are ALWAYS willing to go above and beyond to help with transportation, answers questions, and make suggestions on attractions. I felt as if I were staying with my very own family. I would postpone a trip before I stayed anywhere else! This is the perfect place to make your St. Thomas stay flawless!! A+ resort!!

The staff was very nice and friendly. The resort was dated and could use an update.

We loved the view from our balcony. We took advantage of the free shuttle service along with the free transportation to the area beaches. We made sure we enjoyed a rum punch every time we were in the lobby area. It was very convenient to have the Shoreline Grill at the resort along with Margaritaville a short walk away. We were without a tv for the 3 days we were there due to a storm earlier in the week. Overall, the location of our room (B1) was perfect with a great view, very nice and helpful staff but wish the room was updated.

It was okay for what we needed

The view was beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The unit itself would be fine, but could definitely use some better housekeeping. When we first arrived we found the toilet filthy. It had definitely been used and not cleaned afterwards. The bed sheets were fresh but the bedspread needed to be laundered. We didn't use the kitchen. It worked for the one night but wouldn't have wanted to stay for the duration of our vacation.

Beautiful view off deck. Lovely privacy. Pools and restaurant at resort were very nice. Many of the amenities that are listed as complimentary are no longer available. The shuttle has very limited hours to and from beaches and Redhook. The breakfast was still given to us because of the time frame of our booking, but we were told that that was no longer part of condo price. Overall an excellent rental, would stay there again.

Enjoyable Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Point Pleasant - yes, we would rate it a 5! Everyone was so hospitable, and helpful. Slate (and her husband, sorry cannot remember his name), were both very sincere and helpful--and what a hardworking and dynamic couple they are. And please know that Willie (Willy?) was a great help and truly made us feel at home. We must tell you, he helped us through a pinch when we arrived back at Point Pleasant with a low tire, and the indicator lights on. Willy took a moment to help us air up our tires and set our minds at ease. He is a dedicated man who does his best to make visitors feel at home. Willy certainly has a kind way with visitors and really tried to make sure we had everything we needed. This was our 3rd trip to Point Pleasant, for our 30th anniversary. Thank you for everything, and please extend our sincere thanks to all the staff for making our return to St. Thomas wonderful !!

Our stay at Point Pleasant was everything we imagined and more! Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Our place B-1 was perfect, too! Beautiful views, close to the pool and Sugar beach. Great Time!

I would definitely give it a 5, we had a great time there! The place was clean, not fancy, but we like "shabby sheik" so we were just fine. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, including places to eat, shop, etc. I would highly recommend staying there, in fact when we had to go next door to Dreams on Friday, we cried, it was so peaceful @ point pleasant! We were sorry to leave. If we ever come to St Thomas again, we will stay there.

Great private stay

I would rate it an overall six. We felt like we had the place to ourselves due to arriving during a lull. After touring some of the larger beaches, we decided to just stay put right there on the property and enjoy the magnificent views from the deck, swim in the three pools, and relax on our own private beach. Why go anywhere and fight crowds…really? The view of Pillsbury Sound from the deck or looking out past my toes through the glass doors from the bed was spectacular. Especially the sunrises. We appreciated the fact that B-1 was at the end of the line and had no other buildings in view. Charlie took me to get bait and I found the fishing good right off those old concrete wharves at night. Christy was an excellent tour guide as well. If we get back to St. Thomas I know where we will stay. Thanks again and tell Charlie hello from North Georgia.

Lovely Trip

We stayed in unit B-1 which was actually an upgrade (in terms of location) from our original reservation. The view was beautiful, the patio lovely to have, it was great to have a kitchen though we didn't use it much. The bathroom could use a bit of an update and the phone was not working upon check-in. The staff, 5/5! Everyone we had contact with was outstanding. Aaron in particular is a "get things done" kind of guy. We told him about the non-working phone and was at the unit fixing it (just needed a new receiver) right away. And Willie has the patience of a saint with all his driving guests around. I had reservations about staying at a resort and being "trapped" on the property without a rental car but Point Pleasant's staff and policies go a long way toward mitigating that concern. Thank you all for a lovely time.
