We had a lovely week staying at the Sapphire Beach condo. The host was very responsive and dealt with any issues quickly and completely, even providing us with the name of the driver they use, saving us with our airport transportation. As for the accommodations, some things for future renters to know: the pool deck does not allow glass bottles or cups, and the condo was not stocked with plastic (aside from some tupperware), so plan on bringing your own. There was a shortage of chaise lounges around the pool deck, certainly not enough for each of the guests, so we rented lounges and umbrellas on the beach. And while the rule stipulates that people are not to reserve pool lounges, that was happening en mass. Not a huge deal, but just an FYI. Also the 2 chaise on the private deck of the condo were covered in bird poop, so we had to do our own cleaning in order to use them. Thankfully the owner had some pool noodles to use, but the one pool-floaty available was torn, so if you want to have something to float on, I'd suggest bringing your own. There was no kleenex in the unit, and not a ton of toilet paper, but just enough to get us through our week there. First world problems, really. Barbados is heavenly. All-in-all, we felt safe, the condo was a nice walking distance from St. Lawrence Gap (meaning, was far from the noise of the strip), the accommodations were perfect for 4 people, and we had a great view of the ocean.
