Our stay was lovely...great place, equipped with anything you could want even a bathroom scale!! The kitchen had a fridge with ice in the door, a must in my husband's book! We were there the last week of August, very little crowds at both the beach and pool and it was a fabulous time for a getaway!

Location is fantastic, view is amazing! Private pool and beach access was so convenient. October was quiet and still warm. Condo had enough room for a family or two families to share. Loved our stay!

Great location

Overall we had a great! We loved the pool and the beach was steps away. There were many restaurants to walk too. One of our favorite spots to sit and relax as the porch that over looked the pool!

The condo location was amazing. Loved the screened in porch, view, pool, and elevator. However, the pictures listed were very misleading; it is very outdated especially the bedrooms; the front door looked like it was going to fall off and had a large gap in it; ceilings were peeling in the hallway; lots of scuff marks on walls and needs painted; had two roaches in our condo so we had to buy roach spray; also the tub in the hallway bath wouldn’t drain properly so we had to purchase Draino. The pictures online show an entrance from condo to the beach but that’s closed. We had to access beach next to the condo where public beach access was. We also were not informed they were doing construction on the building right next to our condo, and there’s very limited parking as a result.

Pelican’s Delight

The property was exactly as advertised! The kitchen is clearly newly renovated and such a stunner. Only thing topping the kitchen is the view of the ocean and pool. As much as we loved the spot - the manager was phenomenal and worked with us to ensure we had everything we needed and then some. .

Positive: the location. Negatives: filthy floors, broken items (washer, toilet, outside fan, frig water dispenser, dresser drawers), items that REALLY need to be replaced (beds that sag in the middle, pillows with stains, the closet shelf that is so bowed you could only hang clothes at the very ends of the rod, the broken items), and the multiple disruptions (most of parking lot blocked for half our stay (no advance notice), pool closed portions of multiple days, electrical work, water line hit). I appreciated that the washer was fixed on day 5 of our week stay. I did not appreciate having to hand wash in the tub all of the wet items I had tried to wash. I was told several times maintenance would address some of the issues. I never saw maintenance. We have come to Pelican’s Watch for over 3 decades. Our last few stays have been in units that need updates and maintenance. We will look at other properties in the future

great property sad condo

The property itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and the overall setting was wonderful. However, the condo was disappointing. While some updates had been made, they mostly masked deeper issues that still remained.The kitchen was minimally stocked with utensils, and the inside of the cabinets had an unpleasant smell, with several dirty dishes found inside. The carpets were dirty, and the bedroom doors were in need of replacement. I understand when a place is simply dated, but this condo felt thrown together just to be rented out, without the attention to detail you would expect.I would highly recommend the property as a whole, but unfortunately, I would not recommend this particular condo.

April visit

A great week of making memories. Our wonderful stay began as soon as we arrived. The parking lot was big enough to always have a spot available. Checking in was a breeze with the coded keypad. The three bedroom condo fit our needs, and we loved just sitting in the screened in porch watching the ocean. The kitchen had everything you would need for your stay. As far as the bathroom there is a limited amount of bathrooms (which is explained in the pre check in information) so recommended to bring a couple more.The beach location was perfect. The condo is on the beach which made it easy to run back to the condo if you needed something. For April the beach was not busy so there was always room to sit.The neighborhood is quiet at night but easy access to restaurants, shops, and shows.Our only issue during the week was the upstairs condo was doing some renovations so there was banging most of the day, but wasn’t that big of a problem because we were out and about. It was a lovely and relaxing stay in Myrtle Beach.
