The old Florida feel was spot on. We had a dolphin show from the deck each morning. The house had everything we needed for our week stay.

The property managers were very responsive and helpful when we had a last minute change to our plans. The property was as advertised. A little dated but clean and beds were comfortable. One shower is a drawback but knew that going in. Overall it was a great experience and the location of the property right on the beach was great. The views and ability to walk back and forth from the beach with small children made for a great stay.
We stayed for 6 days wanting the beach front experience. It was exactly what we were looking for, clean beach, tons of sea shells to be found on the beach. During our stay there were three mornings where we watched dolphins swimming within 12 feet of the beach. Three different sea turtles made nests on the beach while we were there and we were able to see the tracks from the turtles on the beach. The water was warm and great for swimming. The pictures are accurate to what the house is like, the parking area and patio are very nice. We had a great time on this vacation.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Outdated with a great view
We enjoyed our stay but was disappointed in old decor and dirty counter tops. The only shower in entire house is off from kitchen and looked like it came from a camper. Bathrooms and downstairs is very outdated. Outside furniture was very dirty as well. I wiped things off/down my first hour of our stay.
We paid heavty fees (cleaning) for it not to be cleaned thoroughly. I sent pictures to manager and she offered to clean again but at this point after a long day of travel you want to be left alone. She did not offer a refund or check on us the remainder of our stay.

Prior to her stay, Pam visited the recently listed home that had undergone a deep cleaning process. On the day of Pam's arrival, I conducted a personal inspection of the property and ensured that she was checked in before the scheduled time. However, within an hour of her arrival, she forwarded me a photograph containing three Clorox wipes with some dust particles. Upon explaining that I had personally inspected the property, Pam claimed that we had overlooked the cleaning of the outdoor areas and countertops. I promptly offered to address any issues that may have been overlooked by visiting the property immediately, at check-in time. However, Pam stated that she had already addressed the issues within the hour. In my professional opinion, it was evident that Pam was seeking a refund.
The area is still recovering from the last major hurricane so very little is open close by. Publix was open which was a blessing.
This place is definitely old florida and for the most part was clean and comfortable. My dissatisfaction was with the dishes not always clean, some stuff in those cabinets looked liked they haven't been touched in years! Dishwasher was full of rust. Only 1 very small corner shower in the downstairs bathroom. Bathtub upstairs was an old jetted tub that was very questionable so that was not an option. Both bedrooms are upstairs with bathroom in the hall. Not a big deal but people need to know. Insect traps throughout the house, which might be normal for this area. The path out back to walk to the beach was still covered in debris and had to use the neighbors path to walk to beach. The view to the beach from the house was very pretty and there were lounge chairs and deck chairs available to use, so that was nice.

We appreciate your feedback. We have since sent this to the owner of the home. We plan to work closely with the owner to upgrade the house as necessary.
The property is currently beach front due to the hurricane that devastated FMB...but there are buildings closer to the beach on both sides, so you will not get a panoramic view of the beach. It's a good spot because it is not as busy as further north by all of the big hotels, so the beach is less hectic. It'd definitely what I was looking for with my kids, being able to come and go from house to beach freely. I'm super glad they did the updates in the kitchen and bathroom, ie new countertops and cabinets. If they get rid of the "window treatment" on the windows (scarves), it will update the place a good 15 years It would be good for the owner to take those simple updates into account. Less is better often times. It was clean, minus the sand and stains on the sofa. Management brought me a good broom so I could keep the sand under control each night. It would be nice to have a vacuum on hand, as well, and a few extra garbage bags (as opposed to just the ones in the trash can currently). The lawn chairs and hose below deck were great to have. There is an overabundance of scratched up "nonstick" pots and pans and cheap plastic cooking utensils that are not heat resistant. Owner needs to get rid of all of that and just buy a few stainless steel pots, pans, and utensils. This beach house is good for location and beach, owner needs to do simple easy updates/cleaning/decluttering. It would be great for them to update on the status of beach restoration.
