Very Friendly Host with a beautiful home and fantastic views of the mountains. Even heard the historic Bryson City Train one afternoon from the porch. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely peaceful! The only way you're going to find a place in WNC that is quieter is back country camping. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

The cabin was beautiful! We had a wonderful time. The drive way is no joke - very steep and a little bit of a nail bitter but that's to be expected when you're on a mountain top. Very secluded with a beautiful view - would highly recommend this location.

Stay was great but we suspect the host is trying to keep our damage deposit.

We did not have a pet with us. However, property was secluded where a pet could run. View was gorgeous! Hot tub was hot and clean!

The place is beautiful, views are fantastic. Must have 4x4 or AWD!!! Road is narrow but easily drivable, the cabin road stretch is dirt/gravel and my 4x4 had fun a few times going up or down not good for sedans,or basic cars. Host was very responsive, bottom room has a tv, top room does not. Over all we enjoyed our stay, the view never gets old and it's different every morning.

2/10 Terrible

0/10 – One of the worst rental experiences we’ve had. Before we arrived, the host asked us to buy paper towels and toilet paper because they were running low, promising reimbursement. We were happy to help. After checking in, I did my usual walkthrough. We don’t expect perfection—I’m from the Dominican Republic, and my wife grew up in the country, so we’re used to rustic cabins and the occasional bug. What we do expect is a property that has been properly cleaned. We first found hair in the shower. Then my wife couldn’t open the sliding door to the hot tub because the track was filled with dead bugs. In the bedroom, there was hair on top of the blanket and more underneath, along with what appeared to be dirt or bugs. The pillows also had hair, and one had a large stain that looked concerning.I contacted the host expecting a simple solution, like fresh bedding. Instead, she became defensive, said her cleaner had videos proving everything was clean, and demanded photos, which we provided. Rather than apologizing or offering to fix the issue, she dismissed our concerns as “normal wear and tear for a cabin” and then told us to leave. The cleanliness issues were disappointing, but the host’s response made the experience far worse. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns, she argued with us and refused to work toward a solution. I cannot recommend this property. If cleanliness and professional customer service matter to you, I would stay elsewhere.
