About this property

Monterey Home with a Secret Garden and Minutes to the Beach!

Newly remodeled! Enjoy the Country Canyon as you relax in the hot tub or read a book outside in the sun. The beds are comfy and the place is spacious. Beautiful private patio with fully equipped BBQ area. Great location, five to ten minute drive to downtown and the beach. Ten minutes to Seca Raceway and Carmel.
Enjoy all amenities, guests love it here!

The space
Garage is not available. Studio above garage is occupied by us occasionaly. We have one resesrved parking space.
Guest access
All spaces, no garage access. There is a washer and dryer in the Gym. We have six parking spaces for guests.
Other things to note
Minutes to the resort and famous Pebble Beach, Carmel, Pacific Grove and Carmel Valley, Laguna Seca. There are many golf courses, beaches, and plenty of sight seeing to enjoy.

We had a wonderful time! Debra was the perfect host, and we really appreciated all of her restaurant suggestions, and well as local attractions we should visit. I would highly recommend staying in her beautiful home, and if we ever come back to Monterey we will definately stay here!

Beautiful Home

The “secret garden” is such a beautiful home with everything you need and more. From the welcoming board greeting us with our names to the bottle of wine, we truly felt at home with everything we needed and more. We would definitely come back if we are in the area.

What a great home! We rented the home for Car Week, and it was just perfect. The location was great with exits on to both highway 68 and highway 1 as well as easy access to downtown Monterey. The outdoor areas were beautiful and well maintained. The outdoor kitchen was a huge bonus and we got lots of use from the hot tub. The house was clean, easy to use, and had plenty of tools for cooking, towels and pillows, and very soft TP! Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful stay at The Secret Garden:)

Our family was in Monterey, from Pennsylvania, to golf at Pebble Beach and visit Big Sur for my son’s high school graduation trip. We lucked out finding such a fantastic home! Close to everything, comfortable, and so clean! Debra was wonderful to communicate with and answered all of our questions quickly and offered such great suggestions. We loved relaxing in the hot tub each evening. We have stayed at several VRBOs and this is by far our favorite! We will certainly return! :)

We love our community and we make a point of being available to our guests for questions and someone is always available to help if we are not here. We enjoy making our guests comfortable and helping them in any way!

Why they chose this property

We love our neighborhood. Our house is located amongst the trees and if you sit in the backyard you sometimes see deer coming down the hill. We have lots of hummingbirds buzzing around! We like the location because you are minutes to every where!
