The house was conveniently located and clean inside. The beds were comfortable and our group enjoyed the flexible sized dining room table. The kitchen could use more available items like cookie sheets, serrated knives, cutting boards, paper towels, large platters and bowls, storage containers, more cutlery and a large frying pan.The play structure and trampoline were super fun and could use a good cleaning. The front patio and laundry facilities were amazing! (One of the washer doors is broken).We had a great stay and with just a few improvements this house could charge almost double

The house was very clean and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Location is a few miles from cannery row and about a fifteen minute drive to Carmel by the sea.

This is a very cute house with lots of space for sleeping and playing in the big yard. It is located in a small cul-de-sac near a park with playgrounds, so it’s a great place to stay with kids! The host is also very helpful and communicative, proactively checking in and even providing recommendations when I asked about good local beaches for kids. Definitely recommend staying at this property!

Host was very accommodating to any questions or needs that we had. Immediately answered the phone. The house was perfect for us! We had 9 people including a couple of young grandchildren and they had a blast from the fort in the bedroom to the backyard playground.

Excellent & Kid Friendly Stay

We had a three-generation multi-family stay and this property was great! Separate “studio”-style stay for the grandparents, and plenty of rooms for the rest! The beds were very comfortable, the property was very clean, and there were extra toys in the kids’ room which was just an added bonus for when they were done playing in the playground backyard. While great for kids it also has nice, updated modern touches for the adults. We cooked several meals for the family in the kitchen too, which was well-equipped. The location was very convenient and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Spring Family Get together

This place had everything we needed. There was a little hiccup in the beginning. But everything worked out perfectly well. The play area was great for the kids. There was plenty of room for us all. The accommodations were wonderful. Sean and Wendy were awesome hosts. Will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay. Thank you for everything!

Family Time

We selected this property because it appealed to a variety of ages, and what a great choice it was! Our group consisted of Grandma and Grandpa, 2 of their adult children and spouses, a 4-year-old, and an 18-month old (Another daughter and her husband had to cancel last-minute due to Covid). The house was comfortably and attractively furnished, and the kitchen was the best-equipped kitchen of any VRBO I've visited. But the best part was the indoor toys and the backyard for the grandchildren! It allowed us to keep the kids entertained and happy while the adults just "hung out" relaxing and enjoying each other's company. The house is conveniently located to the many attractions the Monterey Peninsula has to offer, as well as to useful services like a grocery store and drug store, Sean and Wendy were thoughtful hosts who responded promptly to my questions, but were never intrusive. For our purposes, it was perfect. Highly recommend!

Sean & Wendy’s home was the perfect place for our family to enjoy a small reunion in Monterey! It had enough space for all of us, was close to the attractions we planned on visiting, walkable distance to a park, and was located in a quiet neighborhood. Sean was responsive to all of our communication and ensured we had working equipment/fixed furniture during our stay. Super grateful to have found this home.
