We are a Dutch family who bought this villa in 2004 from a Parisian family, who had built it in the mid-seventies. We lived here permanently with our 3 children for 6 years and made it our home. In 2010 we moved again, but we kept the villa as it is our family's happy place, filled with only good memories. We love going back as much as possible, but since 2014, when we are not there, other families have good times at our place as well. We constantly upgrade our home, as we like living in a modern, light, and comfortable place, amid the beautiful colors, delicious smells, lush nature, medieval villages, and the buzz of the Côte d'Azur.
Why they chose this property
The house is situated on the edge of a protected National park, and still close to the elegance, bonne humeur and joie de vivre of the famous French Riviera coastline with its vibrant towns (Cannes, Antibes, and Nice to name a few) and mostly sandy beaches.
Our villa is situated in a very quiet domaine on the outskirts of the picturesque medieval village of Valbonne - famous for its Friday market - which is just under a 10-minute drive away. You can walk in 10 minutes to the nearby supermarket Carrefour Market and the Boulangerie to do your daily fresh food shopping (and by car it is just 3 minutes).

What makes this property unique
Our house has a very spacious layout, it is equipped with all mod cons, from the pool through to the TV room, high-speed internet, big Weber BBQ, airconditioning, table tennis, lots of games, books, toys and puzzles, an American size fridge and all kitchen appliances.
The ground floor has a great open plan living space (living room + dining room) with a modern kitchen, a pantry, a separate TV room, a separate office, and two covered terraces both leading onto the garden.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor.
The lower level/sous-sol has a second living room and 1 guestroom plus a separate bathroom.
Our villa is unfortunately not suitable for babies and children under 6 years old.
