HURRICANE UPDATE: The pool is open and elevator is now back in service!

Please note: From July 2025 to January 2026, the building will be undergoing a significant renovation project. Be advised that during this period, there will be active construction occurring on the exterior of the building, including balcony work, which will result in balcony closure at times.
The condo will remain open for rent during this time. However, we do want to make you aware that there will be some noise and disturbances due to the construction activities.

We were so disappointed with the condo that we left 2/22/26, (2 days early) I contacted Kathy upon arrival to let her know the noise and debris and dust from the construction directly below our unit was unacceptable. She passed my displeasure along to Jason, the Asst. General Mgr. These were the most important issues: SLIDING DOOR TO BALCONY DANGEROUS TO OPEN (frame no longer holds glass in place), exhaust fan in bath broke, dirty and unsafe pool, certificate from Dept. of Health expired 6/30/22. Freezer interior rusted, bug in kitchen cabinet, Smell of gas near gas grill, The noise level from the construction made TV watching or conversation impossible over the impact tools and grinders being used directly below us, fan in Living Room is inoperable as is the table fan.I was a residential realtor for 37 years and this unit should not have been rented for safety reasons.

Well, you can tell the place hasn’t been damaged by a hurricane since about 1985 bc it’s just that dated. Comfy bed and on the beach. That’s the best I can give the condo. Even had a key for entry. Haven’t had that since about 1985…. Only place in the building I saw that still required a key. Great location.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were 3 families from out of town, staying in separate units at Chateaux, to attend a family funeral. The beach location was great, the pool added refreshing family interaction. Unfortunately, the a/c unit was not sufficiently keeping the condo comfortably cool. Lowering the thermostat didn’t work. It remained uncomfortably warm especially at night. Also, when the a/c unit was running, it may an overly annoying buzzing sound. There was on the wall a metal sign above the thermostat saying not to lower temp below 72 or the condenser would freeze up. This was an indication of previous problems with the a/c unit. A/c return vent just off the kitchen was very dirty, the stove top greasy, burners needed cleaning of crumbs, grease. No hand soap, sponge or dish detergent was available in kitchen. The place had a musty smell. This unit was not ‘renter ready’. It caused enough grief, adding to the grief we were already experiencing with the loss of a loved one. The Beach, pool, and being able to gather in one of the two other units 405, 201) was our ‘safe haven of refuge’ in the short time the out of town family members had together.. We should not have had to cover for negligence of the condo unsatisfactory conditions.
