HURRICANE UPDATE: The pool is open and elevator is now back in service!

Please note: From July 2025 to January 2026, the building will be undergoing a significant renovation project. Be advised that during this period, there will be active construction occurring on the exterior of the building, including balcony work, which will result in balcony closure during that time.
The condo will remain open for rent during this time. However, we do want to make you aware that there will be some noise and disturbances due to the construction activities. We have applied a discount to this unit during the construction time due to the inconvenience this will cause.


Wash away your cares, as you enjoy everything a Florida beach vacation has to offer at this charming 1 bedroom oceanfront condo.
Large balcony offers amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico while you have your morning coffee or casual breakfast while enjoying the occasional passing Dolphin or Manatee. Spectacular sunsets over the Gulf can provide a relaxing end to the perfect day.
The beachside heated pool is surrounded by a paver deck that has both open and covered areas, as you choose your sun exposure. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand before getting into the pool or coming into the building. There are also two restrooms in the gated pool area. The large built-in gas grill is perfect for the catch of the day watching the surf and sunset.

However, the Condo could use some upgrading, e.g., paint, light fixtures, curtains, blinds, ceiling fans, kitchen, etc... And a little maintenance, e.g., curtain rods about to fall off the wall, blinds at the balcony missing slats, etc...

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Despite the storm damage, which was understandable, there were several other disappointing aspects to our stay that had nothing to do with storm damage. We were told that the elevator would be functional by the time we arrived and it was not. I have bad knees that made getting to the third floor difficult on a daily basis. Having the elevator functional was a determining factor in our decision to stay at this facility. The stairs were not well kept and there was often trash and an old sock left on the stairs for days. The stairs appeared to not have been swept for weeks. The condo is supposed to be able to accommodate up to six people. We were only two however there was not a sufficient amount of toilet paper, soap and no tissues at all. We had to go out to purchase all of those items towards the end of the week.For several nights we had difficultly sleeping due to a varying high pitch whistling sound that we could not find the source of. This turned out to be coming from the bedroom window. After finally finding the source of the noise I had to stuff a towel between the window sash and the blind to stop the noise. The window glass seal has deteriorated such that the positive air pressure created by the air conditioning was escaping threw the void between the glass and the frame causing the annoying whistling noise. There was no lighting in the parking area, stairwells and outside walkways the first night we arrived. Subsequently the stair and walkway lighting was functioning however the parking area never came on making for an uncomfortable walk from the car to the stairs. I am not a chronic complainer and hate to knit pick but while I am on a roll the bedding was not at all comfortable.We have stayed at this facility albeit never in unit 303, 3 or 4 times prior and have always enjoyed our stay. This stay was disappointing and we question whether we will return in the future.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The balcony and view were great. The furniture was ripped and super uncomfortable. The entry rug was stained. ALL the cabinets were already full with clutter. Way too many dishes, glasses, etc. There wasn’t any room for our groceries. I had to leave all the dry goods in boxes.The “half-bath” is a toilet and sink in the bedroom closet! I have to admit I’ve never seen anything like it. And that closet was full of clutter too.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented several different units at Chateaux and this unit was the most expensive but in the poorest condition. The furnishing were dated and uncomfortable with some damage: a large rip in a chair and broke blind slats. There were also tiny insects, maybe ants, on the kitchen counters and floors. On the upside, the shower was renovated and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. And, of course, the view from the balcony can't be beat.

We’ve always had a very good experience with Lifestyles listing service who we’ve gone through to book our vacations; and have rented nearly all of the condos Lifestyle managed over the many years we’ve been going to Indian Shores. The condos have been acceptably clean and updated EXCEPT for this time. Condo #303 was very outdated, needing paint and a DEEP cleaning. The bedroom carpet and hallway rug was disgusting with obvious stains and dirt. The cleaning staff left obvious dirt that should have been taken care of before we arrived. It was upsetting to have to clean this condo upon arrival. For the price of this rental we feel it should be comparably clean and as nice as all of the others we’ve rented. If you’re renting Condo #303, make sure some changes have been made.

There was also some other minor things. It would be nice if the owner would take some time to go through the unit and address these issues or they may not have returning renters.

The entrance hallway rug and bedroom carpet were stained, but cleanly vacuumed. It is someone’s home, so it’s a “ home from home”, which makes it comfortable and enjoyable. The rental staff were friendly and helpful. Pool staff tip top . Only bad thing, the elevator kept breaking down or service company wasn’t adequate.We will defiantly go back !

Unfortunately, there is little room in the closet area to hang things Or store the renters personal belongings as it is loaded with so much owner stuff and a 1/2 bath. The kitchen is beyond equipped which is very nice. Don’t mean to be picky but it would be nice to have the proper size sheets for the beds rather than king size that are way to big. Overall the owners are lovely people and glad we rented from them.
