We enjoyed our stay. We were very close to DC, the airport, and all the museums. It was twelve of us. The home really felt like home. It has a very large open area on the first floor which includes the dining room, kitchen and living room. The adults and the children spent a lot of time together. We rented two vans but parking worked well at the house and was very convenient as we used an app to reserve parking in DC. We enjoyed the local restaurants and felt safe as we spent time in the city of Alexandria. We wised we had an extra restroom upstairs but it worked. With lots of women and children, the more restrooms the better. But overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Hi Walter, thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m thrilled to hear that the home provided such a comfortable and spacious environment for your group, and that you enjoyed the convenience of being close to DC, the airport, and all the museums. It’s great to know the open layout on the first floor allowed everyone to spend quality time together—it’s something we love about the space as well.
I completely understand how an extra restroom upstairs would have been beneficial, especially with a large group. We always value feedback like this as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.
I'm so glad you felt safe and enjoyed the local restaurants in Alexandria—it’s a fantastic area! I’m looking forward to welcoming you back again for another wonderful stay.
Sweet Escape at Suite Xscape – A Hidden Gem in Alexandria!
We just returned from an incredible stay at Suite Xscape and it easily ranks as one of our best VRBO experiences yet. From the start, we were blown away by how impeccably clean and well-equipped the home was. The owner, Uche, has truly thought of everything—from the basics to the thoughtful extras that make a huge difference. The kitchen was fully stocked with quality dishes, non-stick pans (in great shape!), wine glasses, a Brita filter, coffee maker, espresso machine, air fryer, toaster, blender, etc. The A/C worked flawlessly, which was a major blessing during the intense East Coast heat dome. The W/D were a lifesaver for our longer stay and especially handy between lacrosse tournaments. We also noticed extras like a pack and play, iron and ironing board, and plenty of towels and linens. The layout was spacious and flexible—great for a family. Our older son took over the downstairs area, and I worked comfortably from the dedicated office. We brought our dog and loved that the neighborhood was dog-friendly, walkable, and very safe. Plus, it's conveniently located near Giant, Whole Foods, and CVS, and only a short drive to Old Town with tons of great restaurants and shops. Uche is hands-down the best host we’ve ever had. Communication was kind, responsive, and proactive. He even left us a welcome package with wine, chocolate, a handwritten note, and welcome guide. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Uche, for making it such a wonderful home away from home!
