This Northern New Mexico farmhouse, built in 2009, as a home for an artist and Yacht Builder, sits on 7 tranquil acres, next to the Rio Chama. Relax on the screened portal and enjoy the music of the river with all its wildlife to entertain you. All of downstairs is accessible with NO stairs. Sleeps up to 10 + as follows: One king bed in upstairs bedroom with lovely views including river. One queen in the upstairs loft with lovely views. Two queen beds in downstairs bedroom. One 9 foot long x 32" wide window seat in living room. One couch in the living room. One queen futon on the screen porch (warmer weather). The downstairs bathroom is accessible without going thru any bedrooms and has a tub / shower. The upstairs bathroom is accessible without going thru any bedrooms and has a shower with a spectacular view.

Old timers says this might be one of the best fly fishing spots on the river.

Santa Fe with its art galleries and fine New Mexico dining is just 45 min south. Abiquiu has a Ghost Ranch - Georgia O'Keefe tours-hiking-swimming-fishing and Bodies General Store. Check in after 3 PM, check out before 10AM. However early checkin or late check out possible depending on housekeeping schedule. There is a 4 night minimum for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. • Extra people in excess of 2 and up to 8 + $20 per person per night
• Accommodations:
• Upstairs: Bedroom-1 king, Loft-1 queen
• Upstairs bathroom is accessible without going into a bedroom
• Downstairs: Bedroom-2 queens
• Screen porch-fair weather-1 queen futon
• Downstairs bathroom is accessible without going into the bedroom
• Pets are $100 per stay, per pet
• Cleaning is $200 regardless of length of stay
Overnight guests:
In excess of 8, includes camping
• Requires express written permission from the owners
• $50 per night per extra person, per night in excess of 8
• Requires description of guests and explicit permission from the owner. Depending, may call for additional requirements

Special Events

Special Events, Weddings, and Retreats are welcome at Abiquiu River Front Casita. Due to the extra special, one of a kind, setting, there are extra fees as well as other requirements.

Any more than 8 guests is a Special Event. See rules below.

Special Events, Weddings, and Retreats
• Express written permission from the owners is required for Special Events, Weddings, and Retreats
• Ends at 9 PM
• No amplified music
• Absolute limit, 30 people including wedding party
• Description of how alcohol is being handled
• Insurance, including liquor endorsement if needed, is required.
• Special Event Fee = $2250 + Yard prep and extra cleaning fee of $300 + Refundable security deposit of $1,000
• If more than 16 people, guests must rent a porta party
• Host does not provide tables, table cloths, chairs, plates, flatware, or glasses
