Everything about this stay was perfect! The host and the entire family were wonderful! The casita was so simple and comfy! Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you need an escape from the crazy fast paced world!

We love staying here at the Barranca Plaza Casita, having stayed many times. Floyd is a wonderful person and a great communicator. From the front bedroom the casita offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and it also contains all the amenities you will need. We will definitely be back-again!

What a special place. The Barranca Plaza Casita is so comfortable, cozy, beautiful, and stocked with everything you might need. Floyd and his family are the most incredible and hospitable hosts. We had the most spectacular trip. If there was a 6 star option I would have selected that!

The host was so very welcoming and recommended various places around the area. And the views from the casita are impeccable! Perfect for my dogs as well with the enclosed space. The interior of the house is thoughtfully decorated right down to the smaller details. It’s truly a special place with lots of sights, hikes, and culture and perfect for fellow Georgia O’Keefe enjoyers. Definitely will be paying another visit!

We really enjoyed staying here! I’ve stayed in many VRBOs over the years and the host here has thought of everything. I especially appreciated the fully supplied kitchen with all the supplies we needed to cook just about anything.

We have often traveled through this area but wanted to stay and explore for a few days. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The casita was an enchanting historical building set in a breathtaking area. Floyd was so welcoming and gave us great advice of things to do and places to see in the area. Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico.

This casita is gorgeous! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner’s mother to show us the place since Floyd wasn't available at the moment but he soon arrived to introduce himself as well. The view from the front yard of the mountains was beautiful. Such an interesting adobe with unique features everywhere. We would happily stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Amazing location!

This was our second stay at this property and it is awesome! The casita itself is wonderful and comfy and quiet. Nice farm setting that I long for. The family is so inviting and welcoming, the are like my own family and I appreciate that. We will be back!
