Please start a load of any used towels, our cleaner appreciates it as laundry usually takes the longest. Start dishwasher. Cleaner will put it away.
Turn off all electronics, lights, and place remotes back close to the TV. Lock up upon leaving. DO NOT lock the service door going into the garage.

Close to restaurants and shopping

This is an older home that has been nicely updated. Part of our trip was to visit the mall of America but there are several shopping malls within minutes of the property. I have to mention the host was very responsive. We had one mechanical issue and the host got a tech out to fix it within a couple of hours. We enjoyed our stay.

This was the first time that I had ever stayed at a Vrbo. It was wonderful to have all of our family together under 1 roof and not have to worry about disturbing anyone. Family from the local area were able to come and spend time with all of us. The only issue we had was the steps getting in and out of the home. The first step / bottom step is larger than the rest with on hand rail it was a slight issue for my 84 yr old mom to get in and out. Someone always had to be by her side. Other than this it exceeded our expectations and would definitely stay again if we go to the same area.

It was great other than being locked out for seven hours.

We arrived on a Thursday for a three night stay. Thursday and Friday were great. The place is very much as advertised, but their cleaning crew could be upgraded. Not awful, but certainly wouldn't pass my mother's inspection. On Saturday we got up and left for the morning. We came back in the afternoon and were locked out of the house (it was quite cold). I messaged the hosts and did not receive a response. I waited and messaged again, no response. After many hours we called VRBO to file a complaint as we had been stuck in our car with three teenagers for many hours not being able to get into the house. VRBO offer to buy us a meal (all of our food was in the house). They also put us up at a hotel down the road (with no access to our luggage which was locked in the house). After about nine hours of silence the host finally responded saying they were out of the country on another time zone. Fine to take a vacation, but it is certainly the host's responsibility to provide a contact number for guests when emergencies arise. By the time we were finally given a new code to get into the house, two of my family members were asleep at the hotel. Three of us drove back to the house to gather some of our belongings. It certainly put a big damper on our last day in the Minneapolis area.
