I found it very easy to cordinate and the property manager was very communicative providing all the necessary lodging info plus area attraction info
Nine of the 12 windows would not lock. Bed for adults was terrible, woke every morning with sore back.Smallest tv ever seen. There are no views from back deck other than trees on ground.

Communication from rental company was helpful. House felt dark and unwelcoming. Better lighting is needed. More towels, washcloths and kitchen items would be better including glass baking dishes for t
We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. The location was great. It was quiet and felt secluded even though we could see 2 other cabins from the property. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to cook & grill. My only complaint is the pool was closed, which was upsetting because the pool was one of the reasons we chose the cabin/community. I emailed the property manager asking about local water options and never received a response, so I didn’t have the same experience with responsiveness that the other reviewers did.
My family and I stayed at this property while visiting Tweetsie. The house was wonderful, and the property manager was responsive. I did have trouble entering the property using the master lock, and also the Power Horn community gate after hours. The paddle boats at the lake were nice, and we hoped to use to pool, but it wasn't ready. Overall, it was enjoyable, everything worked out, and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this home to small families.
Appreciated the small touches (bags for our pup, pods to use for the dishwasher and laundry) that made this property a nice spot to explore nature. Enjoyed the hiking trails and swimming holes in the neighborhood. Very comfortable.

The cabin is one of the smallest on the park, which suited us fine (just 3 people and a dog). In the cabin it doesn't feel like a park, views are great and deer is walking right past. The house is cozy and the kitchen well stocked. The trails were neither well signed, nor very accessible (tried to anyway, but would not recommend during fall or winter). The access through the gate with a code - we didn't get it to work, neither did other guests (for another cabin).
We loved our stay at Hawk Ridge Haven. This is my first VRBO experience where the home and stay was completely accurately represented. The home was pristine and clean. Loved the foosball table in the home and the various games and small movie collection provided. I was worried about only having 1 bathroom with a family of 4, but it worked fine for us. Great stocked kitchen and nice starter kits of detergent & supplies for kitchen dishwashing, laundry, and the bathroom. Communication with the property manager was fantastic from start to finish and we appreciated the neighborhood map of trails and amenities as well as the owner's binder with things to do in the surrounding areas. Our goal was to have fun without having to go far and we were able to relax and have a low key vacation with lots of physical activities like basketball, tennis, hiking, billiards, table tennis, a workout room all within 5 minutes of the rental. You may want to bring your own disinfectant wipes for some of the clubhouse activities as the pool sticks and table tennis paddles were quite dirty. Unfortunately their was only 1 functional paddle boat and it was full of water. We had to dump it out and wipe it out for it to be usable, but this was more an issue of the Powder Horn Owner's Association than the homeowner or rental manager. Overall, an excellent experience and just what the doctor ordered to decompress and relax away from home.
