The space
🏡 Originally built by a German parlor furniture maker, we suspect this home with all of its ornate detailing was something of a showpiece for the owner's talents and style.
🚛 The home was originally located a few blocks away from where it currently sits and was moved (most likely by a large team of horses) around the turn of the 20th century.
🛏️ The first and second floors each feature a large primary bedroom with king-sized canopy bed, plus two additional bedrooms with queen beds.
🍽️ Each of the first two floors also offers 2 full baths, kitchen, living, and dining spaces.
🛋️ The third floor features yet another full kitchen and comfy open-concept living/hangout space with access to the inside of the iconic tower, plus two more bedrooms with queen beds and a renovated bathroom with luxury walk-in tile shower.
🔝 There are front and rear staircases in the home to move between all three floors and the endless rooms and spaces to discover!
🏠 Enjoy a total of 8 bedrooms, 5 full baths, 3 full kitchens, and 3 living rooms!

The Tower house was perfect for our girls trip. It has everything we needed, plenty of space, REALLY comfy beds. We had a problem with the heat on the first floor when we checked in but the host was very responsive and got it fixed even late on a Friday night. Street parking was plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous and charming Milwaukee home! This home is beautifully decorated with such intention and style — every detail feels thoughtfully curated. There's so much space, making it perfect for big groups. The location was great, and parking was super easy. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!
My large family and I visited Milwaukee to visit our oldest daughter who lives there temporarily. The house suited us perfectly; it was large enough for us and eight kids. Warm and inviting, it was a perfect place to relax after a chilly December Wisconsin day.
The house was beautiful and as pictured. Everyone had plenty of space and the kitchens & bathrooms had everything we needed (bath products, hair dryers, plenty of dishes & even coffee). Bedrooms had outlets handy and labeled. Even though none of the rooms have a bathroom directly attached (because of the historic nature of the home) it was not an issue for our group of friendly coworkers - at most we had 9 people in the house (7 individuals & 1 couple) and it was still very comfortable - plenty of hot water for showers at the same time!
Having 3 kitchens & 3 living spaces was wonderful so that people could spread out to work or hang out in the evenings.
One thing to be aware of when renting the whole property is the arrangement of the staircases - access from 2nd & 3rd floor to the 1st, you have to walk through a bedroom or around the street door (3 doors into property from the street). We were able to leave those bedrooms open most of the time for general access and then walk around as needed, but may be good to know when planning sleeping arrangements.
Neighbors were lovely and checked in to make sure we didn’t get parking tickets (there was always plenty of street parking directly in front and it’s an easy & free online process to register plates) - neighbors also gave us recommendations of good restaurants & bars in the area.
The management was very responsive with any questions or issues. Such a beautiful, unique property, would love to stay there again!
