About the host
Hosted by Micaran McDermott
Hi! After years of vacationing on the Cape with our two children, we bought our first Cape house in 2020 because we LOVE Cape Cod so much. My husband owns a Painting and Contracting business and I love designing and decorating (as a hobby) so we decided to completely renovate it. Since then, we have purchased 6 more Cape cottages and created The Salty Doors by Cape COD Salt Houses! We love creating luxury spaces and experiences for our guests. The Salt Houses are the most magical places. It was important for me to design spaces that I couldn’t wait to stay in as well. Our entire family has been vacationing on the Cape for decades so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! We hope that you enjoy yourselves as much as we always do!
What makes this property unique
This is a very unique property. Built in the late 1800’s, the historic farmhouse is brought to life with old Cape Cod nautical charm. Formerly known as Michael’s cottages-Now known as, as The Salty Doors!
