First time renting VRBO, Did not know what to take as far as food prep. Most everything was there that was needed, I'm used to sharp knives for cutting meats and such, not a big problem. We were very pleased with the property and host. Bed was very comfortable.
My husband and I had a weekend getaway here and had a great experience. The space is a bit small, but very cozy and comfortable. It’s perfect for a couple. The rooms and bathroom were immaculate and decorated really cute. The hot tub was a definite bonus! It’s covered and really nice. I definitely recommend this property and will hopefully be returning.
We enjoyed the Eagles Nest & recommend it for a cozy couples weekend. Everything was as advertised. Host was welcoming & helpful. No issues at all with hosts dog as mentioned by another guest.Hot tub was GREAT & refreshing!
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and to visit with my mother that lives in the area. We rented a place because of the hot tub. I have a broken back. We got there in the tub was unusable. Also had cameras set up that made us feel uncomfortable not very private. The next day after getting up we smelled what seem to be sewage from the hot tub being drained the night before. Nice little place clean and safe. Just not what we expected for our anniversary trip. Maybe a fishing trip.
We really enjoyed our stay. The host was so inviting and down to earth. It was clean and super cozy. Bed was super soft. Comfy couch! Awesome kitchen. Full stove and fridge. An inviting hot tub. You have everything you need. Great area for bird watching! Host had a little dog. It barked a little when we come and go. It was completely NOT an issue what so ever! We never heard the dog barking when we were inside. In fact, I was a little disappointed not to meet the pup! So many amazing birds in the area! The host showed great kindness and gave us a sweet Anniversary card. Such a sweet touch! We were happy to celebrate our anniversary there!
I rented this for my mom and her friend who both needed a get-away from everyday stresses.. they were really excited about the hot tub lol my mom says this about her stay 'The place was at a quiet dead end road with woods all around. The owner was friendly and nice to talk to. Checking in and out was a smooth process. The hot tub was very inviting and relaxing. Would definitely stay here againn'
I didn’t even spend up first night there. I just couldn’t do it. And no offer for even a partial refund or anything - book with caution.

The unit was very clean and cozy. It was easy to locate and in a very quiet area. It waant to far from where i had a meeting at. The small town nearby was nice and the property owner was very polite and i enjoyed talking to him. A blanket was left behind and it had sentimental value to it and he mailed back to me. It was a great experience and ill be using it again
