About this property
SPECIAL! Bigfoot’s Hideaway 3 Mi to Sunday River, 145" Theater Projector, Games
You’ve stepped into my hideaway… the place I retreat to when the mountains grow quiet and the world feels far away. This lodge is where I rest, think, and enjoy a little comfort — and now I’m sharing it with you.
Inside, you’ll find plenty of room to settle in with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, so everyone has space to relax. When I’m not wandering the trees, I enjoy peaceful nights in the 4K movie theater with a massive 145” screen, and a little friendly competition in the game room. I suspect you will too.
When the warmer months arrive, the pool can be heated if you choose to add pool heat, making it perfect for sunny days and evening swims. And when the air turns cool or the snow returns, the year-round hot tub is always ready beneath the open sky.
I’ve made sure the lodge has what you need to stay comfortable:
• Fast WiFi when you need to stay connected
• A coffee & espresso bar to start your mornings right
• A fully stocked kitchen so meals are easy and shared
• Washer & dryer to keep adventures clean
• Air conditioning window units in summer to keep things cool
And if you’re brave enough to wander beyond my walls, the mountains have much to offer. Sunday River Ski Resort is just minutes away, perfect for winter adventure and summer mountain fun. Grafton Notch State Park, waterfalls, scenic trails, river paddling, fishing, biking, and even championship golf are all close by. The world out there is big… even to me.
This is my sanctuary — quiet, welcoming, and tucked into the beauty of Sunday River’s mountains. Close to everything you came for, yet hidden enough to feel like you discovered something very few ever do.
Treat it kindly. Explore wisely. Rest deeply.
And remember… you’re staying somewhere rare.
From Bigfoot… About the Pool 🏊♂️
Yes… even I enjoy a good swim now and then. If you’d like the water warm and welcoming, here’s how it works:
✔ I can have the pool heated for $65 per night
✔ If you choose heat, it must be for your entire stay — I can’t warm it for just one night
✔ When heated, I guarantee a cozy 85° (and if you prefer slightly warmer or cooler, tell me and I’ll try to make it happen)
✔ You’ll need to decide at least 48 hours before you arrive, so I have time to make it perfect for you
✔ The pool is cleaned and cared for by professional humans who know what they’re doing
✔ If you’d rather brave the mountain air, you’re welcome to use the pool unheated for free
✔ The pool is generally open May through November, as long as winter’s grip hasn’t arrived early — please confirm availability with me so there are no surprises
Just send a message if you want it heated. I’ll handle the rest.
