Historic Cottage on Mackinac Island
Grand Sojourn Cottage, one of the original 8 historic cottages on Mackinac Island, was constructed in 1883 by Charles Caskey of Grand Hotel fame. Located in the quiet and peaceful Hubbard’s Annex neighborhood an easy 1 mile from downtown, the cottage’s Carpenter Gothic style complete with gingerbread ornamentation and original painted woodwork will transport you to another time as you enjoy a relaxing retreat with family or friends.
Recent updates to the spacious home include gorgeous well-maintained landscaping, freshly painted antique wicker porch furniture, and a new gas grill. The double lot is unique in the Annex and affords plenty of space to enjoy outdoors, plus you will be within a short walk or bike from downtown or the many leisurely activities on the island including:
• Main Street – 1.2 mile
• Airport – 0.8 mile
• Grand Hotel – 0.7 mile
• Fort Mackinac – 1 mile
• Arch Rock and Visitor Center – 1.7 mile
• Wawashkimo Golf Club – 1.3 mile
• Mission Point Resort – 1.8 mile
• Inn at Stonecliff as well as Grand Hotel’s Woods Restaurant and Golf Course – 0.8 mile

• Upright piano (recently updated & tuned) in living room as well as TV & wifi
• Spacious dining room with table for 10 plus highchair. Also, TV that is HDMI capable.
• Fully-equipped kitchen with double oven & large Subzero refrigerator/freezer
• Kitchen counter seating for 3-4 people
• Outdoor gas grill
• 1 bedroom with Full-size bed
• 1 bathroom with modern tub & shower
• Newly finished laundry room with new washer, dryer, & washtub sink
Second Floor includes:
• 1 bedroom with Queen size bed
• 1 bedroom with Queen size bed and 1 Twin bed
• 1 bathroom with antique clawfoot bathtub
• 2 bedrooms with Full-size beds
