About this property

Glacier Borealis - Cozy Glamping Trailer Home Overlooking Glacier National Park

Glacier Borealis is a 27’ Glamping 5th Wheel Trailer is located in a clearing in the forest on the East Ridge facing West towards Glacier Park. The trailer has a queen bedroom and a pullout out dining table bed.

This is a great budget option for 1 couples with 2 children. The trailer can sleep, 2 couples however the pullout bed is not as comfortable as matress bed.

The trailer is located in a area shared with one other rental home, another rental trailer and the camp host trailer.

Although the Borealis has compact shower and fridge, you also have access a shared full bathroom, large frige and washer/dryer and in an adjacent Wash house. The Trailer has a spacious living and dining area with a living area pop-out section. There has a Weber gas grill on the patio with propane on the patio.

The Borealis is located 11 miles from both St Mary and Many Glacier Park Entrances near Babb, MT.

There is a common fire pit area with fire wood supplied. There is wildlife around the property and paths in the surrounding forest.

There is one inconvience to note. On the way into the property, there are 3 gates to open/close on the way in and out. The road is shared with the neighbour and he has horses inside the gates.

Great Location to Glacier

This place was so convenient to the east entrance of GNP. We loved having a full shower and laundry availability right on site! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location as close to St Mary’s and Many Glacier. Comfy bed, kitchen well stocked, unpaved road to access in great shape, communal bath and laundry were convenient. Rental has bear spray to use which is nice. Owner notified us of Northern Lights viewing but we were exhausted after hiking all day. Stove, kitchen sink and tub could’ve been cleaner which is reason for ok rating but overall not a huge deal as rest of rental was in good shape.

We had a great time. Fun set up with laundry facilities and fire pit. Really appreciated the s'mores for 4th of July and onsite manager to help us with whatever we needed!

Amazing View!

We loved staying here for our Glacier trip! It was the perfect spot to relax! We were in Glacier to hike as much as possible and this was the best place to drop our things take a quick nap during the day and go back out for sunset pictures, and get right back up to make it to the GTSR before dawn! Wonderful cleaning lady was very friendly!

Wilderness retreat

Great spot with stunning mountain views and a beautiful pond nearby. Enjoyed watching the goslings in the pond in the mornings. And we loved playing horseshoes in the evenings. Although it’s a camper we had everything we needed from a kitchenette to AC to WiFi. Would recommend.

Fine place but many windows wouldn't open, blinds were broken, propane tank ran out in the middle of the night so no heat or gas for cooking. But it is an RV so to be expected somewhat.

We are happy you had a great stay other than the propane issue and window issue opening issue. Propane tanks do run out. However, There is spare connected tank but we did not find out until morningto switch it over. There was an electric heater in the unit that does heat the RV quite well if you hopefully stay again. Safe travels and hope you are open to an RV experience again on your next adventure.

We loved where it was. Beautiful quiet setting with mountain views. Away from crowds. Fire pit at night. Washer and dryer and shower on site. Great amenities and little extra touches. The only disappointment is that the listing stated two bedrooms. There were not two bedrooms. There was one and then the kitchen table converted to the second bed.Overall, it was a wonderful week. Jon the owner and Rick the campsite host were friendly, helpful, entertaining.
Chilling outside the camper.

Perfect location, less 30 minutes drive to Many Glacier hotel. Great communication. Jon is definately a super host. He provided us a complete hiking trails list before we arrived. So we can get more information and decide which trail is suitable for our family. Jon responded to our request right away. This trailer has everything we need. The blue house (laundry house) has washer, dryer and extra full bath. It is very convenient for us after whole day hiking.

The camper was fine. The maintenece and cleaning people lived on property . They had four large dogs who roamed the area where the campers were . Anytime we wanted to take out our dogs I had to ask the cleaning lady to get all her dogs so we could go out . There was a fire pit in the middle where the cleaning/maintenence people basically sat around the whole day and most of the night . The maintenance guy had taken a “gummy” and proceeded to pass out at the fire . His wife ? then told me that the gummy had made him paranoid . Needless to say we left a day early . Jonathan did refund my money when i let him know of the issues . The accommodations where fine but the situation with the crew was very uncomfortable .

The trailer itself is well supplied with quality items & has excellent lighting. There is purified water, good knives, skillets, pots, colanders, spatulas, large spoons, coffee pot, tea kettle & toaster. The stove works well. There is an oven.Drawers have to be lifted before pulling them open which caused us frustration til we contacted him. Some cabinets are very high. There is a step stool. There are multiple steps down to go from the bedroom to the bathroom. One is a sizable step that you need to be aware of if you get up to go to the bathroom during the night. There is a low ceiling above the bed. 3 gates you have to be opened & closed to drive to & from the property. It took us 8 minutes to get from the trailer to the main road. In one section there are horses. One day horses came & stopped in front of our car. One started to chomp on the car with its teeth. I was concerned about how to move forward. Finally, we raised our voices & laid on the horn for a bit and that worked. The mattress seemed like a quality one, but it is hard. My husband & I are side sleepers & it caused us back pain. It took about 1/2 hour to get to the St. Mary section of the park, less time to get to the Many Glacier entrance, about 1 hour to drive to Two Medicine entrance.Hot water in the trailer lasts only about 3 minutes, but the laundry room has a great shower & bath tub with lots of hot water. It has a good washing machine.John really seems to want to make sure your needs are met.
