Location was great and it was a comfortable space for all of our guests. The only thing was it could have been cleaner and there were lots of personal belongings in the house like dirty clothes hanging up in the laundry room. I would stay here again!

We have 56 reviews for this house on VRBO and a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. We have never had an issue with our professional cleaners before, and I apologize if some prior guests left some belongings in the laundry room. Maybe the cleaner thought they would come back for them. Had the guest simply told us that something in the laundry room was of a concern I could have had them removed. Not sure why that cost us a full star on this review. Indeed, the guest even said they would come back.

Positive experience had here!

The house is neat, spacious and has really nice amenities! The pool is clean and has lots of outdoor seating around it. Communication with owner was suburb and the location is really close to beach and the town. Would recommend staying here!

Family Gathering

Home was exactly as described! It definitely is large enough to accommodate our group of 11 comfortably. Beds were comfortable for all. The weather was not the greatest while we were there. However there was plenty of table space for playing games and enjoying meals at the large dining table. Very close to some restaurants and beach. No complaints. And our host Barry was extremely prompt responding to all our questions prior to arrival. This made it very easy to get settled in. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Barry!

Great stay for wedding

We stayed at this house for my brothers wedding this fall. It was a perfect house to accommodate our large group- 9 adults and 4 small children. The day of the wedding the groomsmen were able to come over for a bit to hang out on the first floor while the kids were watched and played on the second floor. The location was a perfect spot- close to Icona and close to Stone Harbor Main Street. We were able to walk home from the Reeds (about 20 mins) so no need to wait for an Uber. Would definitely recommend!

Roomy comfortable house in great location

Enjoyed a happy family gathering in this roomy beach house. Walked two blocks to beautiful uncrowded beach and ten blocks to cute downtown area. The house had more than enough bedrooms and a good mix of kings, queens and twins. Great kitchen, big and very well supplied. A couple of good takeout restaurants only three blocks away. Overall wonderful comfortable place for multigenerational group.

Excellent location/host

A short walk to the beach. Deceptively large house (more rooms than you would think). Authentic, homey charm with nice local touches-you feel like you really love here rather than at the giant prefabs going up all over the place. So close to the beach, but away from the crowded hotel areas. A short walk to town. We spent most of our evenings eating dinner out by the pool. The previous guests had left the house in less than ideal condition, but Barry and his family went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Thanks Barry and all!

Great family beach house

For our large family, this house had a great layout: enough rooms & beds & bathrooms, open space to be together & work, and enough places for the introverts among us to retreat to reenergize. We appreciated the spacious kitchen & dining room table, the cozy corner for visiting & movies, & the separate upstairs to go to. A minute's drive to the wedding venue we were a part of, a short walk to the lovely beach & close to town shopping. . Great to have street & driveway parking. Thank you so much.

Only regret is that we didn't stay longer

The only negative feedback I received from my family after our stay with Barry, was that they wished we were staying longer. The house was great and the pictures are accurate. The location was really great. Quick 5 minute walk right on to a lifeguard beach or a 10 minute walk into town for drinks, ice cream, shopping, or a movie.

Barry (The owner) was helpful and friendly. We were at the shore for a wedding and the house easily accommodated all 6 couples and had a nice common area for everyone to hangout in. We would recommend staying here again!

What a house

This home is huge. We were seven adult and two kids (4 & 1). We didn’t begin to take up all the space. The kitchens (yup, two of them) were nice, especially the main one. The pool was clean and refreshing. The neighbors were super friendly. Walking distance (~10 blocks) from the main drag. It’s a good spot. Hopefully we get to come back. The only downside is having to bring your own linens and towels but the home is worth the extra luggage.
