The yurt was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Mary Ellen was a great host, she provided us with the info we needed and answered all our questions. We loved every minute of our stay. We will be back for sure.

We had such a magical and relaxing stay at the yurt! The space was beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly peaceful, perfect for a family getaway. The thoughtful touches like the welcome note and fresh produce made us feel right at home. We especially loved the views, the hot tub, and how close it was to Shenandoah and the river. Mary was a wonderful host, responsive and kind. We’d definitely love to come back!

Amazing Yurt- Must See!

We really enjoyed our quiet stay in this BEAUTIFUL and HUGE Yurt. The interior was amazing and airy while cozy and comfortable. The interior finishes and furniture are luxurious yet easy to relax in. Our host was as fantastic as the place itself leaving thoughtful welcome gifts to enjoy. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMMEND STAYING HERE!

Picturesque and romantic

The site is well planned and curated with love (and excellent taste) The yurt let's the sounds of the forest, pond, and nearby stream drift into the abode giving a deep connection to the environment around. My partner and I visited for a relaxing weekend getaway and to celebrate a birthday. I came over prepared, as the kitchen and other areas are well thought out and have every amenity available! The view is even better than the photos, and the night sky from the hot tub is gorgeous to enjoy. This is the most relaxed I have been in years, and will be a wonderful memory to keep. I plan to visit again, it was very conveniently located on top of being a beautiful space with an incredible view! Thank you!

Amazing Yurt! Everything you need for a quick getaway or a full week. Beautiful views!!!! Far enough from town to see all the stars, but close enough for quick trips into town. We enjoyed the hot tub, smores at the fire pit, and hiking in Shenandoah!

My family bought this land in 2020. Originally all 37 acres belonged to the blue farmhouse at the bottom of the hill. The views were so amazing from the "back thirty" as we called it, that we decided we needed to do something more with the space. We wanted to be able to live day to day and be surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and pasture. We thought about cabins, but it felt like they would be too dominating. We didn't want it to feel like a neighborhood in the suburbs. One day my sister suggested Yurts. It was initially tongue and cheek but sounded fun. Yurts and goat yoga! Then one day my stepfather went online and looked at the yurts. He couldn't believe how many options there were for these structures. In winter 2022 we went to Blue Ridge Yurts in Floyd Virginia and saw them in person. We entered the 16' yurt and were in awe.
