Beth and Jeff's place was a wonderful place to explore the Arlington and Manchester area! It was comfortable, had all the amenities and was convenient to many attractions.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in Sunderland. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space, convenient to both Manchester and Bennington. Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with.
I believe this was our 4th stay and it was excellent as usual. The house is very comfortable, we love the location, and also there's a great book selection if you're into novels!
The house was perfect - so cozy and homey. We were traveling with three toddlers 2 and under between six adults, so the open floor plan was amazing for us (loved the window from the kitchen to the dining/living room). Before we even left, we were already sad that if any of us had more kids there would be too many of us to rent again! Otherwise, we'd certainly be back again. Beth was very easy to communicate with - prompt in responding and very understanding when one of us accidentally brought the housekey home with us! Thank you Beth!
We live in Arlington, and had family visiting so we needed extra space….two different families stayed at the house for a few days each, and they all loved it. Charming house with lots of room to play, or work, or sleep!
Hosts very easy to communicate with.
The house is lovely--clean, well-decorated and well-supplied, with room to spread out. My kids loved the many children's books and games. The location is peaceful, while not being too far out of the way. Communication with owner was outstanding. Highly recommended!
Great stay. Beth was very helpful and very attentive. The house is clean, spacious, the beds are comfortable. She was nice enough to let us use their snowshoes and the sled for the boys. Thanks again. Had a great time.
The people renting this beautiful Vermont home are very courteous and helpful. The home is a charming two-story with a great dining room and living room open space. It was a great location with short drives to many scenic locations and towns in southern Vermont.
The property was great and worked perfectly for our needs. My only comment would be if you are very sensitive pet allergies there was a little fur in the air that may trigger allergies.

Perfect house/perfect location
An absolutely beautiful house with all of the amenities! We enjoyed the craft style home with all of the upgrades. My sister and two nephews appreciated Beth, Jeff and their family opening their home to us. They gave us recommendations for places to eat (we went to two of them), walking/hiking trails and other points of interest. The "tv" room had plenty of games for us to use and enjoyed their vast libraries of books. We were within reasonable driving distance to Okemo and of course Bromley and Stratton ski areas. I would definitely want to come back and stay here if I'm in the area and highly recommend it to other families. Thank you.

About the host
Hosted by Beth and Jeff Barclay
We are a family of five and love living in Vermont - but have the urge to travel and explore which is why we rent out our home.
Why they chose this property
Our house is great for families or couples - it has everything you could possibly want or need. Our location is very convenient all types of outdoor activities.
What makes this property unique
Going for a walk, through the covered bridge which is 1/4 of a mile up our road, is a highlight of living in our neighborhood. Arlington and Manchester are great for restaurants and shopping. Head North up to the Green mountains where you will find great skiing, tubing, hiking and swimming. Driving in every direction you have beautiful views of the mountains. We have the Roaring Branch river close to us, as well as the Battenkill river for fishing. We are located almost exactly between Manchester and Bennington.
