Welcome to secluded luxury amongst our amazing pines! Come relax in our large, homey cabin with a 20’ vaulted ceiling great room with fireplace and pool table. The large open kitchen with a dining area that seats 12 provide plenty of space to gather. Enjoy modern comforts like new high powered AC, fiber high speed wifi throughout, and take your time with our late checkout of 2pm!

When most properties say fully equipped there are many things missing, not with this cabin. Very nice and have everything from bug spray for mosquitoes, all spices you would need, first aid supplies many games and books as well as many other things that might come up as necessary Very nice the kids had glow sticks and were content with no fireworks! Win win for all!

We loved the secluded cabin! Plenty of room for a large family and the house was fully stocked and ready! We enjoyed making hot dogs and s'mores over the fire pit. Had lots of laugh and memories!

The inside of the cabin is updated and is vey comfortable. It has a large kitchen with plenty of counter space. We enjoyed playing pool and my son played the piano and we had a wonderful time.

We honestly would not have rented this cabin if the listing had been more accurate and transparent about the layout, amenities, and overall condition of the property. While the cabin itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, our overall experience was disappointing because so many aspects of the listing did not match what we encountered during our stay.To begin with, the cabin is visually appealing. It is well decorated, has a cozy atmosphere, and is located in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the appearance of the property was one of the few positives. We booked this cabin based on the information in the listing because we had a large family gathering with multiple generations, including elderly parents, grandchildren, and our dog. Had the listing accurately described the layout and accessibility of the home, we would have chosen a different property that better suited our family's needs.One of our biggest concerns was the sleeping arrangements. The listing gave us the impression that the cabin would comfortably accommodate our group, but it failed to clearly communicate that there is only one bedroom located on the main floor. Every other bedroom requires climbing a very steep staircase. This created a major problem because we had elderly family members with us who simply could not safely navigate those stairs. They were essentially limited to the one downstairs bedroom, which made the sleeping arrangements much more difficult than we anticipated. When you're t

Great Hideaway Cabin

The cabin was great! Took a minute to find, but when we did we were impressed. It was very clean and we loved all the historical photos, maps and the wide variety of books. Would very much recommend this cabin especially if going to the Renaissance faire. Will definitely book this cabin again.

Perfect woodsy retreat

We were looking for a place close to the Renaissance Festival that would have an outdoorsy feel while still fitting our 8 person group + dogd, and this place really exceeded our expectations. It was even nicer inside than it looks in the pictures. We appreciated the dog run they added which made it very safe for our dogs to be outside unattended. Loved the shower and tub in the master, kitchen stocked with essentials, and big TVs in most of the rooms. Was a great setting to sit outside by the fire at night after a long day at the festival.

Seamless Stay

So lucky we found this awesome cabin! We go to the Texas Renaissance Festival every year and wanted a better option than camping or driving the 2 hours home each day. This woodsy cabin was perfect, only 10 minutes away. Plenty of room for us all and more. The kitchen was stocked well. They even made sure we had coffee and everything for it. I think we have a new tradition!

Quick Family Christmas

We really enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. We had a large family Christmas gathering to attend nearby and then did our more immediate family gift trading at the cabin, and it worked out really well! I wish we had more time to enjoy the cabin and outside area. The downstairs common area is much more spacious than the pics make it look and has lots of unique touches to enjoy—antique pool table, large kitchen with antique stove as well as new one, wood burning fireplace! We would love to come back sometime.

Fun time!

We wanted something close by Renfest that would accommodate our large family. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was large, spacious, clean, the older kids played pool, and my piano player enjoyed practicing on the baby grand. The location is very secluded, so if you're used to a 2 minute drive to HEB just be aware it's probably about a 20 minute drive to one. The owner was very attentive to our needs and communicates quickly. The kids will remember this trip and the cabin stay for the rest of their lives.
