About this property
"This is God's country" | Farrington Farmhouse
The sun rises and sets over a pasture of cows, in the same spectacular way you see in the movies or hear written about in a country song. Only difference this time is, its real and you can soak it in while sipping coffee or tea from the coffee bar, while swinging to the good morning crow of the roosters. Once the sun is up, you have a kitchen full of appliances, utensils, dry goods, and spices to fix every meal. There is room for everyone around the tables as well as plenty of serving space. SmartTv are in both living rooms to promote family time (Disney+, Netflix, Peacock, AmazonPrime are provided). Or find just the right game for everyone to play, out of the playroom. Even better, set up foursquare volleyball, bags (corn hole), or play frisbee outside in the grass. When its time to start winding down the evening, light a fire in the fire pit for everyone to sit around. As the sun sets make sure to be on the look out for the moon and stars to bring your day full circle and experience a day like you see in a western movie or hear country songs written about, out at the Farrington Farmhouse.

Amazing country escape -views are just gorgeous and drinking coffee on the porches. Large firepit area with string lights made evenings extra great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Wife and I stayed here for a weekend during the Renaissance Festival. The house is huge, has everything you need, and is set on a beautiful working horse/cattle ranch. After full days at the Festival (15 min away), coming back to this quiet oasis was ideal. Great host.
We arrived in the evening and the whole house was lit up. We enjoyed exploring the house, enjoyed the country Christmas decorations. We were visiting family in the area. This place accommodated all 10 of us! Hopefully, we can return soon. The owner was quick to communicate and very pleasant.
We stayed here for our youngest son’s wedding with our three other children and their families. The grandchildren loved playing outside and seeing the horses and the cows. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch, swinging, and reliving moments from the wedding while the grandchildren played. Lots of space inside to spread out, too!
It is bigger and better than it looks in the pictures and it looks great in the pictures. The home was stocked with everything that you could need from basic cooking supplies (flour, sugar, etc.) to a side kids' room with toys and games. The master bedroom and bath are huge and there are two dining tables for six each, a breakfast nook tablr for four and a tiny kids table for two. The house is incredibly family friendly with the way it is furnished and set up.
Our stay was amazing- the host is extremely good at communicating and handling any small issues that arise. They were more than accommodating for our large family and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The house has everything you need and so many thoughtful things you wouldn’t even think to bring. The outside set up has games and a fire pit, grill, etc… The house itself has an awesome set up for large families and plenty of room for everyone to sit together for dinner or lunch! It truly was such an incredible experience for our family and helped us enjoy good family time together. I give the host and the house 5 stars!
We booked this farm house for our Aggie’s graduation. It’s always fun to check in with the family and see everyone’s first impression of a place. This one was a 10, a delight from the moment we opened the door. Highlights included the back porch with views of the sunrise and cattle, super cozy beds, chef’s kitchen, a toy room that was a hit with kiddos and adults alike, and an impressive coffee bar. We were comfortable and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Would love to come back one day.
I booked the house a month before a big even in the city. I received auto generated email from VRBO about our stay. However, the day of our stay, I reached out to the owner for our check-in information. I was informed they didn’t have our reservation. Of course I panic, I check my reservation, and it was correct. I call the owner back and they do not answer. I call VRBO and they contacted the owner, who informed them we could not stay there. We did receive a full credit. But, now we are in Navasota, with no place to stay, on a BIG weekend, Texas Birthday Bash. After texting the owner again stating how upset I was at being left without a place to stay, I was informed that their ranch was being used for a filming. I would never rent from someone that has such poor communication with a renter and left them stranded.
Home owner was very kind and stayed in great
Communication as needed. House is charming with beautiful back yard views. Bathrooms were clean and kitchen was well stocked. So well stocked we thought someone could be living there 😂 Great master and dinning areas. Older 80’s farmhouse feel upstairs but still clean.
We were in town for our sons wedding and had several guest come and go. Back patios were perfect for our goodbye breakfast with friend and family.
Our nephew loved running around the fenced yard.
The only thing that caught me off guard was the road leading to the house is definitely a country dirt road and tricky to navigate at night after the wedding. I didn’t research the map well enough to see that it was not a paved road. Also once on property the house sits pretty far back on a large working ‘ranch’ th pasture. There is a worn down road sort of but more like a tire path. and you need to watch for cows grazing sitting in the way. They weren’t a problem and very beautiful just not expected. We didn’t have any rain as expected but I wondered what it would be like if we had.
Not sure if if it’s well water but the down stairs shower smelt like sulfur. This might be normal
For the area.
Over all very neat house and would stay here again u see different circumstances.
We recently stayed in this beautiful home with all of our children and their families. We came to the area to celebrate my mother in-law's 87th birthday, she was able to stay with us and enjoy her grandchildren and great grand babies. We really felt at home and the attention to detail in the Christmas decor made the home every festive. Our host Montana was a wonderful host and responded to questions really quickly! We had an excellent stay! We are forever grateful for the wonderful memories!

Had an awesome weekend. It was cold & rainy a god part of the weekend but the house was big enough for us to play games around the big table, and sit by the fire pit at night. Plenty of beds & bedrooms so we all could relax when we wanted to. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. Absolutely loved it & would stay there again.
Montana was superb with communication. The house was better than expected and we highly recommend! The kids loved the well stocked toy room and feeding the horses.
This property is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sitting on the back porch watching the kids play on the splash pad was the best. Beds are comfortable, Plenty of sitting room with a well-stocked kitchen. Oh and the best thing was the Kids play room. My grandbabies loved to play in the play room. Thank you so much for making us feel at home.
The listing was exactly as was described and so much more. The house was much bigger than we expected & the scenery with the farm animals was beautiful! The property was only a couple of miles from hwy 6 so it was a straight drive into College Station. Montana was an excellent host. I messaged her several times before our trip & she always got back to me within minutes. We definitely plan on staying there again
This house was roomy, peaceful and cozy for our family Christmas gathering. My son and daughter in law were here from Arizona for Christmas. So it was good to have all the family under one roof. The host Montana was great so helpful and attentive. We would love to come back and stay again.
