This was a perfect getaway for rest and relaxation. The property is beautiful and the cabin was so clean and inviting. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and reading in the rocking chairs on the front porch. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very attentive and easy to reach if we had questions.

This cabin is the perfect couples getaway! It is furnished beautifully and very clean. The jacuzzi is awesome! And if you love to fish, you’ll appreciate the stocked pond! The hosts are super! We had the best time staying here! We loved the hot tub and enjoyed watching DVDs that we found at the thrift! The whole cabin felt like stepping back in time, it was classic, simple, and reminder to take it easy and cuddle! We also loved having a kenny burger at Dale's!

Cabin was clean & had the basic cooking equipment. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately it rained each day and we were unable to use the hot tub. Mostly quiet location, some random light traffic noise in the distance. Saw deer, wild turkeys, groundhogs & rabbits. Enjoyed the rockers & small table & chairs on porch. Had fun fishing in the pond, caught about 2 dozen sunfish while watching the frogs, muskrats & great blue heron.

We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We will sell you a great steak or hamburger that was grass fed right here on our farm. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Why they chose this property

We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.

What makes this property unique

We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike.
We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!
