Fantastic home with much character. Big clean and comfortable. Furniture top notch and beds extremely comfortable. Needed nothing and enjoyed eating in and visiting birding locations close by. One of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed at!!
We stayed here to go on a fishing charter. Plenty of space. 3 couples and 2 teens. Clean and plenty of supplies to stay a couple days. Would stay again. Thank you!
This lovely home is located in a quiet neighborhood, and inside we found everything we needed for a family getaway. This is our second year booking this home for the Biggest Week in Birding event at Magee Marsh. The kitchen has everything needed to cook and share meals, the bathrooms are lovely with a tub upstairs and a spacious shower downstairs. We're looking forward to returning next year.
We were there for 2 nights. Had everything we needed. Plenty of extra blankets. Walkable to town. Did not cook so unsure about kitchen cookware. Would definitely stay again.
Beautifully updated home from early 1900s. Older home so the upstairs was warmer but plenty of fans to keep cool. Host thought of everything from toiletries to popcorn that made our stay easy. It’s a short walk to the ice cream stand, coffee shop, and an eclectic shop that included a bar with a great bourbon selection. Not far from Cedar Point, Ferries to the Lake Erie islands, or the Hayes Presidential Library, but in a quiet town. Was a great space to unwind and reconnect with my family.
Well kept and beautiful property. A 10:00 AM checkout is a little early to shower, eat breakfast, load your cars, and do what is expected at the property. This is also coming from couples who are all early risers!
Everything was excellent. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans to cook whatever you want. House was clean, large enough to be comfortable. Host was very accommodating and responded to messages and questions quickly. I would definitely return.
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was nice to be in a neighborhood instead of a vacation rental in Port Clinton. We could get there easily when we wanted and then it was nice to come "home." The pictures online don't reveal how cozy the house is. The house had everything anyone could possibly want as well as nice touches throughout. It was nice to go to bed and just touch the lamp to turn it off. The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept on in a rental. The linens were fresh. Because it is an older house we brought an extension cord just in case but it wasn't needed - there were plenty of outlets in each room. The entire house was clean & fresh. The kitchen was well stocked (the pots and pans looked new - unusual in a rental) and had appliances that worked well. The porch swing was a perfect touch! We hope to stay again on a future trip to the area.
This lovely, historic home is welcoming, and conveniently located for birding at Magee Marsh. Our family enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening, after a day spent exploring the various local wildlife areas.
There were 4 senior adults staying to ride GOBA during the week. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close to Port Clinton and was well equipped as a vacation property. I would recommend it.
We had a long weekend here & we love this house! It’s got all the historic charm you might want, but all the updates you need. Seriously thought amenities, nice bedding & towels, and plenty of space! Nice, quiet location, easy walk to the main strip in town. Quick drive to Port Clinton. Great time!

Thanks Michelle, so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.
Beautiful historic home with woodwork, glass door handles and lovely upgrades in keeping with the nature of the home. Roomy, comfortable beds and well-aapointed kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. A/C and fans kept us quite comfortable. We loved the large porch with chairs and swing. Great pizza and ice cream right around the corner, and brunch restaurant not far. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the host was very prompt, kind and responsive. A perfect stay! Highly recommend!
There was four of us staying for 3 days in order to do some fishing on Lake Erie. we have been coming here for the past 20 years, at least 3 times per year and are very familiar with the area. This place is our new favorite!! The location is walking distance to everything in the downtown area, and is only a 10 minute drive to the Wild Wings Marina. Perfect spot for our fishing trip! The house was fantastic, and the beds were the most comfortable that any of us had slept in since we've been renting in the Oak Harbor area! The only problem we encountered was the slow streaming service while watching the TV, but that may have been due to the weather. All in all, we loved this place and will booking all our Lake Erie trips there moving forward!!
This was a absolutely beautiful home! It was abundantly stocked with everyday needs, the host litteraly thought of everything that a guest might need for every situation! The bathrooms were beautiful and so clean. The bedrooms are large and the beds are so comfortable. It was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. Thank you for having such a beautiful and comfortable home! We hope to visit again!
