About this property
Beautiful Victorian Home Historical Landmark. Downtown Denver, walk 2 everything
This beautifully restored, three-bed, two-bath Victorian home is located in Denver's historic Whittier neighborhood. This is the actual place where William F Cody, "Buffalo Bill" , spent his last days and the place of his death. The former residence of his sister, this house is an iconic Denver historic landmark. Now for the first time open for public and renters. This home has been restored to its Victorian glory, as true to its origin as possible, using mostly original material from the time period. The house's interior is all beautiful wood and architectural details restored to its original dark wood finish. Kitchen and bathrooms meet modern standards.
The two-story Victorian home has a spacious backyard and is set on a quiet, tree-lined street. It’s just two blocks from the light rail station on the D line that runs through downtown Denver with stops along the 16th Street pedestrian mall, the Convention Center, the University of Colorado campus and, further south, the University of Denver campus. It’s a short walk to City Park, the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science as well as plenty of options for nightlife and dining in the River North Art District. For skiers and others, I-70 is just a few minutes away, leading up to the mountains.
