We had such a wonderful time on our family vacation visiting the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum! This property was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and the perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring. The location was ideal, conveniently situated between both attractions, which made our trip even better! David was a fantastic host and always quick to respond whenever I had a question. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the area. Thank you for helping make our family vacation so memorable!

The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Every detail was well planned out. I would just note that there are trains that do come thru quite often so if you are a light sleeper plan accordingly. They do offer sound machines in each bedroom which was very helpful.

The home was perfect! Had everything we needed and more. Perfect location to visit the creation museum and the Ark Encounter. The property is located on Main Street and there is a train track behind the home. We would definitely recommend you stay here.

First of all, this home was in a perfect location for seeing the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. About 25 min to each one. The unit was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for 4 people. Whoever designed it did a great job creating lots of storage space. The outdoor deck space was really nice also. Check in and check out were really easy with seamless instructions. The place was impeccably clean. All in all, a great place to say for a day or a week. Very comfortable!

Great distance between the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The beds were comfy. Had everything we needed. We did have trouble with the washer and the host was quick to come out the next day to get it working. We enjoyed our time away from home. We would stay again.

This property was very clean and we enjoyed our time here. It is conveniently located between The Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum which is where we visited. We stopped at the Newport Aquarium on our way to The Upper Room and ate a delicious supper at Barbeque Bob's restaurant. The evening before we left we had ice cream at the little roadside diner on Main Street just down the road from The Upper Room. Thanks for allowing us to use the space.

My son and I basically moved in for five days and made it our home. It had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect. The hosts are very accommodating… any time of day or night.We preferred to stock up on food and utilize the kitchen. But if needed, plenty of restaurants close by.Excellent stay.

Great place to stay, perfect location to visit the Ark and Cincinnati. My wife and I both enjoyed the back deck after a long day to sit and unwind, very private and comfortable place to stay. Kelly Q's diner is a short walk from here which is a great place to eat, and was a awesome benefit of staying here.

We loved our stay at the Homey Haven. Everything was clean, cute, and comfortable. The host provided everything we needed, even laundry detergent. We got used to the train. We enjoyed watching it pass from the deck, and then we got used to it. It wasn't a problem. The AC units in the rooms were a bit loud as they turned on and off, but that wasn't a big deal either. It was a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend the place to friends.

This upstairs apartment was a great stay! The space was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for the trip (including washing detergent, coffee, etc.). There is obviously lots of care that goes into this space, and it is appreciated! The hosts being so helpful and kind is just an added bonus!The only reason we ranked a 4/5 is the proximity of the property to the railroad track. It was quite loud during the night. However, if you have a train enthusiast in your group, you can watch the trains go by from the glass door or outdoor deck!

We stayed here for 4 nights in April/2026. I have to say this place is Adorable! It is so warm and inviting! Nicely decorated! Plus I think the hosts have gone above what is normally expected, with white sheets and towels so you can see how clean they are, supplying coffee pods, sugar, creamer, and filters! Their attention to detail shows how much care they put into the place. Plus the communication was excellent from the start. The low area on the steps and the train did not bother us as we read about it ahead of time! I highly recommend staying here for your visit to the area!
