Take a break from city life. Come enjoy a getaway in our well built log cabin in the small town of Franklin. Home sits on 18 acres of secluded land. Enjoy the quiet and peacefully mountain settings. Our home has everything you need to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook meals. The best spot is the large screened porch to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Plenty of wildlife in the area. Will often see deer and turkeys crossing the property. Our guests enjoy lots of activities like the Appalachian Trail, Gem mining and local breweries. We are a dog friendly property. ***There is No cable or WIFI currently. *** Home is currently listed for sale. There may be an hour window where showings may happen during your stay.

This is an amazing place to stay. Jennifer is awesome and will do anything to make sure your stay is great. The home is beautiful, with amazing land to enjoy. Wildlife galore! Book your stay today you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful, peaceful, charming cabin. Great stay, highly recommend. Lots of wildlife and close to town. Found the best donut store in town called Just Donuts, check them out. Jennifer was amazing thru out. Highly recommend!!!

Quick stay

My dad and I stayed two nights while waiting to close on his new home in Franklin. The house has a super cool cabiney vibe but has everything you’d need to be comfortable. Beds were super comfy and Jennifer was an awesome hostess!! Would absolutely recommend it to friends and family.

Long weekend stay

We booked the property for a long weekend stay. The communication process with the host was prompt from initial booking until check-out, which was appreciated. We loved the property, especially the enclosed porch. It is a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy nature.The property was clean and has everything one might need. Would definitely visit again.

Weekend getaway and property search

Fantastic! The cabin is situated on a secluded lot with a small stream that you could actually hear on the large screened in porch. Easy access in and out of the driveway and road. The cabin is conveniently located to downtown and to the nice new Ingles grocery store. Thank you for having us at your beautiful cabin. We are booking this place again when we go back.

Lovely Mountain Getaway

We really liked the cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. It is very secluded but in a good way. Wasn’t far from amenities like restaurants, gas stations and grocery store. Had a great day driving to the Highlands for lunch and some shopping. Our main purpose for being in Franklin, NC is for the funeral of our niece.

The house was perfect. Beautiful and clean. We spent most of our time on the porch. Minutes from town but it does not feel like it.

3 nights at the cabin

We stayed at the cabin this past weekend to get in some hiking. As per other posts, this cabin was secluded but easy to find. You could hear some traffic and voices from surrounding properties but not enough to disturb. Within 8-10 minutes you could be at Ingles or Walmart. No WIFI but cell coverage was good. House was clean and kitchen well stocked with quality utensils and appliances. We saw deer on the property 2 of the 3 nights. Enjoyed outside firepit. We had no complaints and would stay again if the chances arises.
