This was a perfect getaway to calm my busy life. The cabin was very nice, and everything was clean and tidy. I loved the area. We saw several waterfalls and went to the gem mine. The host, Jeff Warshaw, was very kind and provided all the information I needed to have a great stay. I sure hope I get a chance to go back. There is so much more I want to see, and the peacefulness of this cabin is a great place to restore my sanity from the hustle and stress of life.
One of the cleanest, most thoughtful cabins I’ve stayed in. Everything you could need and more to help your stay be as comfortable and easy as possible. I’ll be recommending this cabin to all my friends. Worth the stay! The owners are very kind and caring people.
Without a doubt, one of the places to relax, unwind, and enjoy some time in contact with nature. Definitely an unforgettable adventure. The place is perfect.
We loved the cabin! It had everything! The yard was so relaxing. We thought we would have more of a “view” rather than mostly trees. Still it was beautiful. We’re thankful to have been there. Our host was very accommodating with detailed directions to the cabin. Yes, gps will lead you wrong. Thank You Jeff.
This beautiful and immaculate cabin is placed in a quiet, secluded area in the mountains. It’s perfect for a family getaway to explore nature trails and gem mining. We absolutely recommend this cabin and hope to return one day soon!
The sun sets and and sun raises were a slice off of a magical tale. The nights under the cool breeze on the cabin porch made for a wonderful vacation and much needed one. 10 out of a 10 I would recommend.
Our stay at Jeff and Eva’s cabin was everything we needed and more. The cabin was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and provided us with the privacy and seclusion that we otherwise couldn’t get in FL. We spent every morning on the outside lookout gazebo and rocking in the chairs on the porch. We hope to come back next fall to escape the Florida heat and enjoy the mountain life. Thank you once again!
My husband and I had an amazing time at your cabin. Thank uouagain

Trip
When I booked this trip at this cabin I didn’t realize it was so far away from resturants, businesses, and people.that’s my fault. Both my husband and I are in bad health. In fact I got very ill while on vacation. Was looking forward to watching movies together on TV. Big beautiful tv but WiFi was spotty. And that’s putting it mildly. We finally cut the tv off and just read and rested.
We started visiting Franklin NC when my 8 year old daughter told me all she wanted for Christmas was a rock collection. She is currently 23 and i cherish the memories made with my family in these mountains. This property is now part of my heart.
We had a wonderful time in the cabin. My kids and fur babies didn’t want to leave. I’m going to try to get my husband to get us the same cabin on our 1 year anniversary in October.
If you are looking to relax and unwind this is the place. Great screened in porch and gazebo. Furnished nicely, updated appliances, spacious bathroom, attentive hosts
Cozy cabin up in the mountains, very peaceful, surrounded by forest, cabin contained everything you need, kitchen has all kinds of pots & pans, plates & bowls, utensils. Washer & dryer with laundry detergent and softener, plenty of towels and other supplies. Highly recommend.
This was our first vacation as a family of 4 and it was the perfect place for it! Our kids are 9 and almost 2 and they LOVED running in circles through the bedrooms and bathroom - HOURS of entertainment! The beds were comfortable - the sheets were so soft! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we could have needed or wanted. We spent a lot more time hanging out and playing games at the cabin than we originally planned. Partly because we were so comfortable there and partly because most things we wanted to do were at least an hour away. We knew it was remote but reading it and actually living it were very different! We bought a new vehicle a week before the vacation and were SO glad we did because we weren’t confident our old car would have made it up that driveway!
The hosts provide written directions to the cabin and I suggest people use them! We reviewed them prior to the trip and printed them out for the car. We used our GPS but those written directions were invaluable for that last little bit of the drive!
I also recommend printing or writing down the code to get the key before you go, too! We had ZERO cell service at the cabin without the Wi-Fi (we had 3 phones between us, 2 Verizon and one T-Mobile and none worked even a little!).
But we liked the remote location and how quiet our phones were for the week!
We’d definitely stay there again and I’ve already recommended it to a couple friends!
Thanks Jeff and Eva for a great place to make some memories!
Great place for a fishing trip with my dad. The cabin is remote, but if that isn't a problem (it wasn't for us), the place is great and completely satisfactory.
