The pictures don't do this place justice. The house and property are beautiful and the location is right on the Nantahala rafting route. We can't wait to go back!

Awesome vacation

Our family loved the home and the location was perfect. Some of the family went white water rafting and passed our place. We loved every moment!

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was very comfortable, had a great kitchen, fabulous bathroom, and the location was perfect. The porch overlooking the river was our family gathering place. Lots to do in the area.

Gorgeous river escape!

Beautiful home ideally located feet away from the beautiful Nantahala River. We enjoyed a family weekend retreat with time to be together and enjoy the nature and house. We first saw this house while rafting and knew we had to come back for more! Highly recommend - host very responsive and house well provisioned.

Amazing Cabin Experience

We have literally nothing negative to say about this VRBO. The house is phenomenal and located on one of the most beautiful properties along the Nantahala River. The host was very detailed with the info they shared and very responsive. We will be back!

Serenity in a great location

Well appointed home in an ideal landscape with large windows overlooking a bubbling rapid river. Many rafting groups passing nearby entertained our kids. Easy driving to Wildwater, Natanhala Outdoor Center, Bryson City, and Smokey Mountain National Park (print parking pass before travel). Otter Creek Trout Farm was great for the kids (Bring Cash on this trip for activities and restaurants). Grocery store less than 20 mins away. Gated community, host manager readily available. Starlink internet was appreciated.

Beautiful upscale rental right on the Nantahala River in Topton. The property is truly special — the river flanks two sides of the house, and the huge lot includes a small island with a gazebo and two walking bridges. It feels private and peaceful while still being close to all the fun.The house itself is rustic-elegant with tons of space. It’s the kind of place we look for when we want to live well on the road, and this one delivered. We used it as our home base for Nantahala rafting, caving, and ziplining, and it worked perfectly. We ate in every night — cooking on the back-porch grill, sipping a cold one while listening to the river rocks cutting through the water. Not bad, folks. Bonus: it’s a short drive to a Walmart Supercenter for any supplies. We’re already thinking about coming back next year to use it as a base for an Ocoee rafting trip. Highly recommend if you want a high-quality, spacious river property in this area.
