This property is in such an awesome, central location in the Poconos that we were able to fill all 6 days with the most amazing adventures! From exploring the area to enjoying all the beautiful sights, there was never a dull moment! And nothing beats winding down at the end of the day, relaxing around a bonfire in those cool evening temps! The perfect ending to each adventure-filled day!

This house is large, comfortable, and mostly clean. The property was closer to other houses than we anticipated but the rain kept us inside most of our stay anyway. The lake/ playground nearby was really nice to visit between showers. Overall a good stay despite the weather.

Had a lovely weekend at The Nest! We did not venture out of the house & were very comfortable. It was very spacious. The top floor gets very warm so definitely beware of that. The deck and firepit were really nice. Plenty of large rooms for every guest. Tech and amenities were all accounted for! The host was very responsive and was able to get a tech out when the fireplace had stopped working.

Location was close to many fun snow activities, the home was beautiful, clean, cozy, with lots of games and space to truly enjoy the weekend. Host was easy to contact and other than some small plumbing issues had a wonderful experience.

House was exactly as described and clean. Communication with host was excellent and easy to contact. House has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Very nice game room also. Outdoor deck, fire pit and grill available for use. In a very nice community with lake, beach, swimming and fishing available. Convenient location with nearby grocery store, gas stations and restaurants. Easy access to roads and highways. Has very nice golf courses nearby, which was what our trip was for. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Perfect little getaway

We had a wonderful time! We were a group of 8 and the house was very spacious, great rooms with plenty of beds. SUPER clean and full of light during the day. The communication with Avantstay was easy and quick! I highly recommend this property!

This property in Blakeslee was a great starting point for us to base our adventures for a long weekend! Ample space, effective communication from the host, and provided clean linens made this a good choice. Unfortunately, there are some things I expect when renting from VRBO that I didn’t get this time around. Many of the dishes and kitchen utensils were not properly cleaned by housekeeping/previous guests and had stuck-on food or were greasy. This meant we started our weekend with cleaning dishes, but dish soap and sponges were not provided so we had to purchase these items along with tissues and paper towels (every rental I’ve stayed at has provided all of this). The grill was also quite filthy and required cleaning. Another miss was the body wash/shampoo/conditioner bottles provided in the bathrooms being empty. These missing items, along with the excessive pre-arrival personal information requests from the host, mean that although we enjoyed our stay, we will not be coming back.

Perfect getaway

This property was amazing. The bedrooms were very nice, the kitchen is a great size for multiple families to gather and talk while cooking and the kids loved the game room. Some deer friends came to say hello which was such a great experience for the kids. Will be coming back to this house many times to come.

Most beautiful property quiet and oeaceful

It was the most wonderful time we had on vacation. I am terminal and we would go out early morning and stay out til til early dusk and sit and watch the deer I. The Front driveway. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was nice not to hear the screaming and yelling of a bunch of teenage and younger kids on a boardwalk or fireworks going off all night like we do at the beach. Nice Home. Very spacious.

This property was just as pictured. With the weather I wish the property owners would’ve taken the 6” sheets of ice and snow off the walkway. We had to be so careful there was absolutely no where to safely walk the entire weekend. The check-in process was grueling and incredibly invasive of our privacy. I won’t be using avant- stay again.

My Wonderful Birthday

Last weekend I celebrated my birthday in a cozy House in the woods with my family, and it was an absolutely magical experience! This House was nestled in a forest, just a short walk (10-15 min) from a beautiful Lake Harmony. The peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The Nest at Brier Crest itself was charming and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent our days exploring the forest trails, enjoying the fresh air, and relaxing by the lake. The evenings were spent around the fireplace, sharing stories and laughter. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that exceeded all our expectations. If you're looking for a memorable getaway with family, I highly recommend spending it in this Nest in the woods near a lake. It's the perfect place to celebrate and create lasting memories!

The house was beautiful and just like what you see on the website. The area is a little misleading in the photos I believed we would have more space between houses but the other houses are close. Despite this we had an amazing time. The place is close to many attractions, little malls or plazas and close to food shopping. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

The house is amazing. It’s better than described. Super clean and had extra touches of bath towels and toiletries! Kitchen was stocked but we also brought our own. Clear instructions and places to visit and eat provided! Plenty of room to spread out. Easily combine multiple families.

Great getaway

This property was the perfect size for 8 adults. Plenty of rooms. It had all the amenities for a quick weekend getaway. We only needed to bring our clothes and food. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. The furniture was comfortable and we had plenty of room. One small suggestion is to buy more forks and upgrade the kitchen knives. We cooked a lot, so 8 forks were not enough for our party of 9. But we loved the place and will be coming back.
