This was an adorable home and very cozy with lots of amenities. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and we will return on our next trip.
Home was super clean and the host left all the amenities that we would ever need. A great place to stay for the night if you’re traveling and convenient to restaurants with a short drive. John was super helpful attentive at check-in.

Nice House in a Good Location
This is a comfortable little house in a good location for exploring the Klamath Basin area. The neighborhood is generally quiet and the house is convenient to downtown.
The house was very cute and served all our needs, we were there to visit family and did not spend much time at the house, we just slept, showered and had morning coffee before leaving each day but the home suited all our needs nicely.

This home was cute, clean and cozy. It was appointed tastefully and comfortably. The owner ensured we got in safely and we did not need anything to make our stay better. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 5 nights over Memorial Day weekend to visit our son. This place was a great find. The views are amazing. We watched local wildlife every night, close up and personal. The veterans memorial park across the road was a nice visit. Thank you John, for all the extra touches in the kitchen and bathroom. We’ll be back.

John is a very responsive host. The house is clean and close to shopping and restaurants! There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We enjoyed our stay very much! I highly recommend John’s home!
This historic home has been lovingly renovated. It was so comfortable and everything we could have wanted was there including bowls specifically for popcorn! It was located close to Crater Lake and was the perfect place to return to after adventuring.John thought of everything! We would readily recommend it!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the home comfortable and well-equipped for your needs—even down to the popcorn bowls! It was a pleasure hosting you, and I’m glad you found it the perfect spot to relax after exploring Crater Lake. Your recommendation means the world to me, and I’d love to welcome you back anytime! Safe travels!
The listing accurately describes a quirky little historic home with lots of character! We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be incredibly convenient. Beautiful view of the lake. The historic nature of the home meant some interior doors were a little sticky, it wasn't perfectly free of dust in some corners, and bathroom a little cramped, but all to be expected with an older home such as this, it was still quite acceptable and what we expected. Very happy with our stay and would stay again if if in Klamath Falls. Must try the liege waffles at the the waffle hut down the block!
My wife and I had a very nice stay. The house is cozy but still pretty roomy. Nicely equipped kitchen. John was responsive to any texts or messages. It's an easy walk down a (steep block) to the water and downtown. Easy on and off the freeway to go bird watching. We even saw an eagle out of the dining room window a couple of mornings. We would definitely stay there again.
Everything from start to finish was over the top. When we opened the door to the house we were so happy. It was clean, smelled good and was bigger than we expected. Everything was such great quality and even had coffee pods and coffee in the fridge! The kitchen is amazing. We will definitely come back. The owner is extremely helpful and answers within a few short minutes.
We arrived on Thanksgiving Day for a 3-night stay to enjoy the holiday with our son and daughter-in-law. The home was lovely and well-maintained, comfortable and welcoming. It was a home away from home atmosphere. There is not a rating high enough for John, the owner, for kindness, communication, and responsiveness. We will definitely recommend this home to family and friends, and will likely return ourselves. It was a hassle-free, relaxing experience and we are very grateful.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful review! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you and your family over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm delighted to hear that you found the home comfortable and welcoming—it means a lot to me that you felt it was a true home away from home.
Your recommendation to family and friends is the highest compliment, and I sincerely hope to host you again in the future. Wishing you and your family all the best, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of your holiday memories.
Warm regards,
John
John's property was cozy and close to the lake, which was equipped with a dock where we could put in our kayaks and paddle boards, but unfortunately weren’t able due to the weather. This would be an excellent location for others looking to enjoy the water. The house had ample room, just enough supplies for us to cook a group meal or two and a stack of puzzles, games and books to help us wind down after a long day of hiking. The house was a little dusty and the beds seemed a little unkempt, but overall the place was adequate and comfortable enough to meet our needs. We would definitely return!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the cozy setting and convenient access to the lake for kayaking and paddleboarding (even though the weather didn’t cooperate this time!). It’s great to know that the house provided enough space and amenities for your group to relax and enjoy some quality time together.
Regarding your feedback about the beds, I appreciate your understanding. The comforters we use are a bit tricky to keep wrinkle-free, which can sometimes give the appearance of being less tidy, even though they are freshly laundered. We're always striving to improve and will continue to work on making our guests’ experience as comfortable as possible.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we'd love to welcome you back for your next trip!

My wife and I were in Klamath Falls for the "Ride the Rim" bike at Crater Lake, which is about an hour away. We found the house generally as described. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the basic needs for cooking. The house has great views of the surrounding landscape. The owner was very responsive and immediately helped us deal with issues with the AC. Although the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen were clean, the floors had dog hair on them, the back porch was too dirty to use, and the dirty windows detracted from the views. The neighborhood is also not well kept. We rented the house based on all of the excellent reviews, so apparently others had better experiences than we did.
