Me and my family spent 6 days at this home and it had everything we needed and was very spacious. The Mountain View’s are gorgeous and we loved walking the property in the morning to listen to nature and the stream. We did see a deer and some wild turkeys on the property which was a nice experience. Overall, we had a great time in Wyoming and at Kimmet Kamp.
Quiet, beautiful views! The house was great and close to mountains and rodeos. The canyon down the road was spectacular! Pamela was awesome to work with and we'll be back.
We really enjoyed the mountain view. The house was specious and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the air hockey table and the game room. Having access to WiFi was very helpful when trying to plan our next day's adventures.

Thank you Colleen! Really enjoyed meeting you. So glad you enjoyed your stay .
Beautiful views right off the porch. Mule deer in the morning. Rabbits in the back yard. House is perfect and Pam the owner had many great insights on where to go for some seriously beautiful drives. Loved our stay!!!
This is a perfect spot between Red Lodge Montana and Cody Wyoming. Once there and settled you realize what a great spot it is. Two little creeks boarders the property so you have a grove of trees on each little creek that makes it a little oasis in the middle of a solitude surrounding. The host helps you with anything you need and the place is very clean. A very nice place to stay!
This is a very spacious house in a beautiful setting near the mountains that was perfect for our family of six. Pam was a very gracious host and provided some personal touches for us. Thank you so much, Pam!

It was such a pleasure to have you and your family here. And it was such a blessing for me to participate in some of your experiences. Thanks again!
Excellent country setting between Cody and Yellowstone
Pam was there to greet us even though we arrived very late in the evening. She kept in touch with us to make sure we didn't need anything throughout our stay. We spent a lot of afternoons sitting on the porch, being entertained by the deer and bunnies. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

It was a pleasure to have you all. It was so kind of you to offer to help water the lawns. This is possibly the hottest summer in many years and the lawns would have withered away. I hope you come back sometime, we would love to have you.
My husband and I loved our stay at this property. The owner was beyond accommodating! The hospitality they showed us was amazing. There is a beautiful trail close by if you enjoy hiking! Hoping to return with our children and their families! Thank you Pam and Martin for a great stay! Tom and Kathy from Northern Iowa.

We will miss you two! We look forward to seeing you again and meeting the rest of the family. In the meantime, God Bless!
This property is the perfect place for a family vacation. There are plenty of bedrooms and a huge open family room where everyone can easily gather. In addition to fishing, hiking and horseback riding available right in Clark, it is located about midway between Cody, WY and Red Lodge, MT for easy access to the East and North Entrances to Yellowstone. We highly recommend this property. Thanks for everything Pam!

Pam was very helpful in insuring our stay was enjoyable. We used this site as a home base so we could see the things we were interested in and have a peaceful and quieter environment to come home to. The house was very clean and well decorated. The Mountain View from the porch was nice.

Only about 30 minutes from Cody, Wy. Convenient to all we had plans of visiting and seeing. Host was friendly and informative. View from front porch was well worth the relaxing morning cup of coffee. Could not see all the area in one week. Another trip may be in our plans.

Steve, it was great meeting you all. I hope your grandson enjoyed his birthday vacation. Hope we meet again. Sincerely, Pam
Our family was again vacationing in the Cody area this year. We decided to stay a little north of Cody so we could split time between WY/MT. We did Yellowstone, Cody ,Red Lodge and Beartooth Hey. The place is fantastic and Pam is a wonderful host. Every day there were deer in the yard and turkeys too. There are wonderful views of the mountains from the deck, and the breeze coming up out of the canyon was great. The house was very clean and well stocked. This was the perfect place for our family of 4. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you Jeff! It was such a pleasure meeting you and your family. I loved the pictures you shared on Facebook! You all are welcome back anytime. I sincerely hope our paths cross again. Pam
Pam and her house were awesome. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay before we arrived. She made sure we knew everything about the house so we could get the most out of our stay. The house itself was perfect! The board games, puzzles, and movies made it easy to hang out and spend time as a family. There were Pam’s personal touches everywhere so I felt like we were part of the family! It’s so cozy there- and we were able to see deer out in the front yard. It’s in a breathtaking location next to Clark’s Fork Canyon. This stay has literally everything we wanted. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

Kellye, it was such a pleasure to have you in my home. Shirley said she could hear the children playing in the yard and how sweet that was. I am so sorry I missed meeting you, as I was away for the holidays. But I hope that you will return some time in the summer so you can see how really amazing Wyoming is year-round. Pam
The views from the big front porch are nice. The trees around the property provide privacy. The flowers on the side of the house are pretty. Our granddaughter liked the yard to play out front plus the big rocks to climb on. She also liked the small bridge on the side of the house over the little stream we could hear sometimes sitting on the porch. There is a short drive from the house into the near by mountains is beautiful and worth seeing! The house was clean and it was good having a crock pot too. After a long day/drive in Yellowstone coming back to a home cooked meal. Yellowstone is absolutely beautiful and seeing the wildlife on our day trips was an added treat.

Thank you, Violet. I am so glad you got to see Yellowstone while you were here. It was a pleasure meeting your family. Thank you for the review and the kind comments. I just wish I could have known what I could have done to get a 5-star review. I always ask my guests to please tell me if there is anything they need or that I can do to make thier stay the best that it could possibly be. Clearly there was something missing during your stay and for that I am sincerely sorry. Pam
My family had a wonderful time in Clark. We didn't spend much time at the house, but when we did it was relaxing. My almost 3 year old loved playing in the stream and chasing bunnies. We saw a mule deer and her fawn in the driveway. The mountain view never gets old! This property is perfect for families with how spacious it is. It has enough space to hide for a few minutes if you need to. Yellowstone NP isn't too far away. It took roughly 1.5 hours to get to the East Entrance going through Cody. The Beartooth pass was beautiful; however, it's not for the faint of heart! We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for choosing Kimmet Kamp for your family vacation! You have such a beautiful family. It was my pleasure to have you stay in our home. I hope Lee got some "dogs"!
The photos do not do it justice! Fantastic property and host. Secluded, beautiful location, so quiet. I could never get tired of the mountain views with the morning coffee! So much room, inside and out, to have a wonderful vacation. Everything you may need is provided. Just down the road is one of the most breath-taking hikes I’ve ever done - Clark’s Fork Canyon! The farther in you get, the more gorgeous it becomes. Words cannot describe its vastness and beauty, just experience it for yourself.
Pam is wonderful, the communication from the get-go was superb. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Book it, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you Rob, for your kind and passionate review! I feel the same way and I am so blessed to live here. I am also so blessed to be able to share it with people like you. It warms my heart when my guests remind me of what I forget because I see it every day. Thanks again and I hope we meet again. Sincerely, Pam
The house was a perfect place for my western and eastern US family to gather together and stay put or explore. The house itself is obviously loved and well-cared for by the owner. But the front porch and view . . . Oh my! That mountain changed its looks every hour or so. And while the sun was setting, it changed its look every few minutes.
Pam met us at the property, made us feel welcome, showed us around and then gave us the space to enjoy the house, while being nearby.
If you are at the house on a Sunday, visit the church a mile or so up the road. If you can’t find a way to worship in the singing, fellowship or sermon then the view from the huge window at the front of the sanctuary will cure that.

Thanks, so much, Angie. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I pray our paths cross again.
Loved the house, and the property. The fact that you are largely unplugged is a certain bonus. Pam was very kind and only reminded us(sorry, Pam) about latching the gate securely. There really ARE critters all around,
As far as the location-what a super sunrise view of the Beartooth Mts! If it wasn’t for the blown out streams and poor fishing(I know!, it’s Wyoming, right?), it would have been almost perfect.
Please, though, Pam, consider a portable dishwasher, or a built-in. Not a deal breaker, You did have a very well equipped kitchen, which I utilized, The sharp knives, well. I used my camp knife.
All in all, spectacular views, super quiet, property look and feel was awesome. Maybe I can coax my wife to come next year😊👍

About the host
Hosted by Pam Kimmet
Hello! I am Pam and I have been living in Wyoming since 2005. I am retired and have one Daughter and one Son. I moved here from California when I decided that my 14-year-old son needed a different environment. I have never regretted that decision. My son turned out to be a wonderful young man but, unfortunately, he and my daughter moved back to California. Now that I am alone, I decided to turn this big home into a vacation rental. I have been doing this for the last 10 or so years. I have no desire to leave Wyoming, and this is a win/win for me and the people who have stayed here so far.
Why they chose this property
I wanted to raise my son in a wholesome and healthy environment, and it was the best decision I ever made. I moved from a small condo outside of Los Angeles to 20 acres in a small community with room to breathe and a breathtaking view. My son thrived with the hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and all the hard work that goes with owning a home on 20 acres. This is not a place you will want to come to watch TV or play video games. This is a place for you explore and have good old-fashioned fun.
What makes this property unique
3 bdrm, 2 bth spacious home, sleeps 6-8. Hunt Elk (54), Antelope (80) , Big Horn Sheep (1), and deer (Region F, 105) or fish the famous Clark's Fork River. If you are hunting in Clark you should be staying in Clark. There is no hunting on the property itself, and we do not provide licenses, but you can purchase fishing licenses next door at Clarks Ford Trading. Hunting licenses are obtained through Wyoming Game and Fish. You will enjoy sitting on the front porch and watching the wildlife pass by. Have your coffee on the front porch and look at the majestic Beartooth Mountain view while you plan your day, and there is much to plan. Cody and Red Lodge offer so many activities like river rafting, horseback riding, shops and restaurants, The Buffalo Bill Museum, Bus tours around Cody or Yellowstone Park. You can also rent Jeeps or UTV's to tour the many trails. In the summer you will hear the gentle sound of water flowing by both sides of the house, whether you are sitting in the living room or in one of the bedrooms. The house is a great place to just relax and be quiet or entertain as there is room enough to feed 10 at the dining room table. So, you have the choice of quiet solitude or travel 30 miles in either direction and have all the people and activities you want. Most people come to enjoy the beauty or participate in all the activities in Clark. No one comes to Clark to watch TV, but there is one available to watch videos or stream, but you need to bring your own RoKu. If you want to work while you are here, there is a big, beautiful desk, as well as WiFi. In the winter there is skiing in Red Lodge or Cody. Always something to do in Clark!
