About this property

Grand Isle Lakefront Cottage

Cozy cottage with lake access on 2 acres of land in Grand Isle.

This one bedroom cottage has an open floor plan, full bathroom, washer and dryer, and a wrap around deck for viewing the beautiful sunsets. The lake is approximately 250 feet from the door and guests have access to the beach, dock and a shared yard.

We live on site, but in a separate building. Close enough if you need something, but far enough to allow for plenty of privacy.

While we hope you are here to relax and enjoy the Lake, there is WIFI available.

We love where we live, please adhere to the following rules to help us ensure we can continue renting to people like you!

Please remove your shoes upon entering. If there is a chance of rain, please make sure the windows and doors are closed and secured so water doesn't ruin the window sills or door frames. If something breaks or spills, please inform us so we can promptly address the situation. Please remember while this is a vacation for you, we (and our neighbors live here year round) so please be respectful. And finally, please note we do not allow smoking or pets ANYWHERE on our property, this applies to you as our renter as well as any guests you may host during your stay.

Please put trash and recycling in their respective receptacles located behind the L shaped fence near the boat house (red building).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great oasis getaway

Beautiful property on the wonderful island of Grand Isle, VT. Nice, quiet and private. Betty and Matt were very nice and we're there if we needed anything but also gave us the privacy we wanted. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

We rented the cottage to attend a wedding at the Grand Isle Lake House. It is in a beautiful location, on the water and away from busy roadways. It was very conveniently located near our event, and it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Clean with easy beach access

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very clean with easy beach access. I brought my kayak and the time on the lake was fabulous with great views of the Adirondacks and the Green Mountains. The hosts quickly accommodated our request for more supplies. I would suggest having a microwave as well as some standing lamps near the couch to make things perfect. We hope to return again.
