Whether your visit is for Baseball or just much needed downtime, our yurt is the perfect place to do just that. Nestled deep in our peaceful forest, in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains , enjoy true luxury in your own private all-weather Yurt. Sleep cozy comfy on a Sealy Posturepedic queen mattress outfitted with luscious sheets, organic cotton duvet and memory foam pillows. Enjoy Farm to Table home cooked meals in the well-appointed kitchen or grab some locally grown food and cook out on your gas grill. Living is easy with comfortable seating indoors, or outdoors at bistro table and chairs on your own deck, lounging in hammock with forest birds serenading or build a fire in your fire pit (firewood provided free). Relax in the fireside Adirondack chairs or sit around our Chartres labyrinth in the 3 acre meadow and gaze at the bazillion stars outside at night. 20-25 min to AllStar Village and 30-35 min to Dreams Park.

Located on 30+ private acres in the western foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Meditate at Whimsical Meditation. Walk our handmade field stone Chartres labyrinth. Become one with nature while indoor and outdoor activities are still just minutes away. By car NYC is only 3+ hours, Albany 90 min. Cooperstown All Star Village is 20 min or Dreams Park 30-35 min...and quaint villages galore around and between.

Our stay here was incredible. The yurt is so peaceful and also very accommodating. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to feel like we’re in the beautiful woods without feeling like we were “roughing it.” We will definitely be returning if we are lucky enough in the future. Also, don’t discount this place if you’re looking for some where to stay when your son is playing baseball at Cooperstown. It was not too far from the ball park at all and offered much needed seclusion from the craziness of the Cooperstown area.

Relaxing Stay

We loved staying in the yurt! We came to this area for our son's baseball tournament, & it was so peaceful & relaxing to go back to the yurt each evening. The hosts have thought of everything...there are plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc, plus all the extras you wouldn't think of, like citronella candles (for any bugs while enjoying the outdoors), flameless candles, olive oil, parchment paper,.....SO MANY EXTRAS! We highly recommend staying here, & we hope to come back in the future. Thank you Dale, Jana, & Denise!

Our property is co-hosted by Denise Warren, whose family owns and operates Stone & Thistle Farm just down from us. Denise offers Farm to Table fresh meals delivered, picnic box lunches for your excursions as well as farm tours and educational programs. My husband and I love to make our space here in the Catskills available to folks wanting nature combined with comfort and luxury. We are avid RVers and travel frequently, Denise is wonderful when we are away.

Why they chose this property

There is nothing more beautiful than Upstate New York. I fell in love with the area over 20 years ago. We are located on over 30 private acres, surrounded and nurtured by nature.

What makes this property unique

We were glamping before glamping was cool. And speaking of cool, you’ll be nestled in our lush, shady forest… Mother Nature’s natural a/c. Our 20' all-weather yurt is appointed with flushable toilets, hot water showers and lockable doors. Not your everyday yurt for sure!
