Our family of 4 plus dog had a great stay. Easy drive into Chicago. The neighborhood is very quiet and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Interior of the house is nicely done with newer appliances and 4 bedrooms with queen beds in each room. Would stay there again. The grill was missing a propane tank but that was minor and Host offered to bring one for us.

Nice quiet property, had power outage last day due to storms but nothing owner can do about mother nature, cleaning lady was a Lil rude but didn't speak English so didn't understand what happened. But still was a good stay and will stay again if allowed
Absolutely sparkling clean 2 down and 2 up with bathroom on each floor worked perfectly for our multigenerational family. All essentials in the kitchen to prep breakfast and evening snacks. Gosh the gas stove is lovely. Huge frig. We scattered for seating, at kitchen table (seats3), living room table (2 can squeeze there) and a few on the couch. The deck is actually better for sitting together and it’s really nice out there! We used the washer/dryer and that’s such a great thing to have. Will definitely return when we return to Chicago!
We stayed here with a group of 8 women. The house was super clean and in a quiet, safe neighborhood, which we appreciated. The two upstairs bedrooms were roomy, and the bathrooms were a decent size. We especially loved the back deck — it was a peaceful spot to sit and have coffee in the morning. The space felt a bit tight for eight people, and the kitchen wasn’t well-stocked for a group that size — it was missing some basic bakeware. Toilet paper and other supplies were also limited, so be sure to bring extras just in case. Laundry detergent was provided, though, which was a nice bonus. There weren’t any clear checkout instructions, and a heads-up: don’t park on the street — we ended up getting a ticket. That said, Bart, the host, was super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions, which made things easier. Overall, even with the few minor things, we had a good stay and I’d stay here again.
